With both front and rear disc brakes, BMW S 1000 RR comes up with anti-locking braking system. This S 1000 RR bike weighs 197 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 16.5 liters.

The 2023 BMW S1000RR packs several styling and mechanical updates over the previous model and it rivals the likes of the Ducati Panigale V4 and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available in three variants in our market – Standard, Pro, and Pro M Sport. The ex-showroom prices vary depending on the variant selected and the Pro M Sport is the most expensive version of the motorcycle.

The 2023 BMW S1000RR gets several styling and mechanical updates over its predecessor. The fairing gets sports aero winglets as standard fitment and these are claimed to add 10kg of downforce. BMW Motorrad has also lengthened the windscreen to deliver improved wind deflection. The S1000RR also gets a new rear end, more power output, and advanced assistance systems.

The mechanical specifications retain the 999cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine with BMW ShiftCam. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor now produces a maximum output of 206.5bhp at 13,750rpm and a peak torque of 113Nm at 11,000rpm. The claimed top speed of the motorcycle stands at 303kmph.

Meanwhile, the electronic rider aids on the 2023 model comprise traction control system with slide control function, ABS with brake slide assist, four ride modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race), hill start control, bidirectional quick shifter, launch control, and pit lane limiter. Further, the company will offer Race Pro 1 to 3 modes as optional.

Riders can further customise this BMW motorcycle with two optional packages – Dynamic and M. The Dynamic package brings along dynamic damping control, riding modes Pro, heated grips, and cruise control. Meanwhile, the M package, which is available for the Pro M Sport variant, adds special paintwork called Light White Uni / M Motorsport, M carbon wheels, M sport sat, M brake calipers blue, fuel filler cap black, and the M rider footrest system to the motorcycle.

BMW S1000rr is one of the best bikes if you're going for looks, speed, road presence, and long rides it is the best bike and if you are a fan of BMW then this is absolutely worth it the sound of the engine will make you feel the love with it . the seats are more comfortable for long rides but it is very difficult to ride in a crowdy place due to the fear of scratches he requires high maintenance.

While routine maintenance is simple, the occasional specialized service can be pricey since it's a high-performance machine. However, the peace of mind and service quality make it worthwhile.

      Pros and cons

      Manindra Nath Besra

      1. I am in the mega city kolkata so I choose to buy it
      2. Riding experience - after a lot of research I think for Kawasaki zx10r. Still, when I see my weight (72kg) I found that I need a more powerful power-to-weight ratio bike, and if you are in a mega city like kolkata , mumbai, you must have to buy it because there everyone, has zx10r bmw is raw.
      3. Performance you feel man it's a damn best machine.
      4. In servicing part so ready for bare cost service is costly man 5k - 7k extra from zx10r
      5. Pros - limited bikes on the road, best and top class power, and performance, most beautiful design and aerodynamics.
Cons - feels very light like a 200cc bike,
The price is a little bit higher according to its features, Indian roads man so need more ground space.
