Hero Electric Optima Summary

Hero Electric Optima is an electric scooter that is available in two variants – City Speed (HX) and Comfort Speed (LX).

The LX variant is available with two battery options – lead acid (LA) and lithium-ion (LI). Both variants of the LX range boast a top speed of 25kmph. In terms of range, the lead acid version is claimed to deliver a range of 50km per charge while the lithium-ion variant can cover 85km per charge.

The charging time for the lead acid variant is about eight to 10 hours. The lithium-ion version, on the other hand, takes four to five hours to fully recharge. Being a slow speed scooter, the Optima (LX) does not require a registration.

In terms of styling, the LX variant looks similar to the HX version. The sleek design is accompanied by features such as a halogen headlight, apron-mounted front blinkers, and a broad comfortable seat. The colour options include four choices – Red, Grey, Blue, and White.

The hardware on the scooter includes telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. The anchoring duties are handled by drum brakes at both ends.

Buying Experience was excellent. The showroom assistant has complete knowledge of the vehicle. I used to ride this bike every day. For a city like Chennai, it is always good. It looks great and can identify my bike in any crowd. 0 maintenance and servicing so far.
Pros: 1) Affordable 2) Eloquent look
Cons: In the rainy season may get repairs.

Worst bike , no value for money

      Raghavendra S Nayak

Wost bike, no proper service available, unskilled labor creates more issues and charges hefty numbers, I do not recommend optima, no value for money, I had lost more for simple issues, the place where I have the service center (vidyaranyapura) is really not having skilled workers

      Worst hero electric optima

      Vishwa

One of the worst bikes, if the road is 60 or 70-degree slant bike will not move at all. Before taking a bike please ride at least 10km on different types of roads.
Normally for trial, we will go for 2-3 km but once you start to use it, you will face the real problems. Especially when you are double riding.
They will not allow you to change the battery even during the warranty period.
Don't waste money buying hero electric bikes.

      Very poor quality material used

      Annamalai

Very poor quality material was used for the bike.. Dealers are not cooperative with customers.. Overall my expectations went for a toss. I expected better quality from hero motors.
The vehicle has a very poor braking system and gives a noise when it's stopped during the turning in a traffic signal. Doesn't have control during the initial ride start.

If you think you save money but its not save money its waste of like dustbin.

      S Suresh

Dear customer, please don't buy hero electric optima. You think you are saving money but if you buy hero electric optima its mean you waste money. I buy Jan-2022. And I used only 1500km.
      1. Within three months bearing is gone. (
      2. After two-week converters went ( i paid 400rs)
      3. After one week display went ( it will take 2 months) (labor charge 100 rs)
      4. Accelerator went.
      5. Finally they change the full wire and they took 320 rs for the labor charge.
Note:- I don't know still one year not finished this many complaints faced future don't know what happen and they are saying every part's limit warranty is there not a three-year warranty.
Please don't take hero electric optima and don't think it's hero company. It's totally waste of money not to save.
