The Simple One is an electric scooter from a Bengaluru-based EV startup, Simple Energy. It’s available in a single variant and can be bought with and without the charger for Rs. 1,58,000 and Rs. 1,45,000 (both ex-showroom, Bengaluru), respectively.
Powering the Simple One electric scooter is a 4.5kW motor with a 105km top speed. On the other hand, the battery capacity is 5kWh and the Simple One gets a fixed and a removable battery with a cumulative range of 212km. Simple One will also offer a 750W charger at an additional cost as mentioned above.
The Simple One sports a nice and aspirational design with cuts and creases across the fascia, side panels, and overall bodywork. Its single-piece seat with the grab rail has been retained. Along with the previously offered colours (Namma Red, Brazen Black, Azure Blue, and Grace White), Simple Energy will also offer Brazen X and Light X options.
It rides on telescopic front forks and monoshock and gets a 200mm front disc, and a 190mm rear disc mounted on 12-inch alloys shoed to 90/90 tyres.
On the feature front, the Simple One gets LED illumination and a seven-inch TFT touchscreen with all the essential readouts. The screen allows you to glide through various features like Bluetooth connectivity, calls and music, document storage, navigation, OTA, four-ride modes (Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic), park assist, and more.
The Simple One electric scooter rivals the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X Pro Pack, TVS iQube S and the Bajaj Chetak.

The buying experience is very bad they don't have any showroom. We have to go to Yelahaka to take the delivery. Riding experience is very good but the range what they have said is not true. Servicing and maintenance were the worst. They are not providing proper service to the customer. They are careless while we call they are not picking up the call properly still there are huge issues with the software.

Not a good choice for the price. Lack of optimisations and connectivity features.

I have taken delivery on 14th April. 1st problem is they don't deliver at the showroom. Delivery is done at the basement of the R & D center located in Tech Park. Customer care response is very poor. Build quality and performance is top-notch. But, there are some performance issues where power drops suddenly for a couple of seconds. 105-65kmph in sonic, 90-45kmph in dash. 70-25 in ride mode and 56-11kmph in eco mode. When it comes to application. To date, it's not mapped with my credentials. You can't trace any real-time data. There's no remote control on your vehicle through the application. Importantly there's no auto power cut-off after 100% charging. There's no Bluetooth connectivity. Being the costliest e-scooter in the current market. It doesn't feel value for money. I feel like riding a test vehicle. I would not recommend anyone to buy until another 1-2yrs. Let R & D resolve the existing issues.

Looks good, and performance is likely above expectations. No doubt this vehicle is going rock, we took it yesterday day and found it really amazing at the first ride, the range seems to be accurate with what it has come with, vehicle is lighter yet stronger. The chassis is strong enough to carry 2 people.

I looked for good electric scooters and this was the best one I could find. The company's response to this scooter is not very good. Simple is a company that is very unresponsive to their customers. I tried to order the scooter but then I saw some reviews saying that they haven't yet received the scooter.

Booking Amount not refund and cheat me

The sales people of Simple Energy are chatting, saying one thing and doing something else. They did not return my booking amount. The salesman told me that the bike would be delivered at the booking amount of Rs. 1947 after I had made the payment or he said that after paying Rs. 20000 or more he would get it.
