The Benelli TNT 600GT is a middleweight sports touring motorcycle, which is based on the naked TNT 600i. It is a part of Benelli’s initial range which was launched in March 2015, and is aimed at touring enthusiasts.
The TNT 600GT provides a comfortable riding position, which makes it ideal for daily commuting as well as long rides. The Benelli TNT 600GT is powered by a 600cc inline four engine which churns out a respectable 80bhp and 55Nm of torque, through a six-speed gearbox.
The massive 27-litre fuel tank and the aerodynamic fairing along with a host of other features give the motorcycle great touring abilities, making the TNT 600GT one of the best middleweight touring motorcycles in India. It is built around a steel trestle chassis with aluminium alloy casting in the rear. Suspension is made of 50mm upside-down fork at the front and a monoshock in the rear. Stopping power is provided by 320mm twin discs at front and a 260mm single disc at the rear.
The Benelli TNT 600GT is locally assembled at DSK Motowheels’ factory in Wai, Maharashtra, which has helped the Italian manufacturer price the motorcycle very competitively in the Indian market. The TNT 600GT rivals the only other middleweight touring motorcycle in India - the Kawasaki Ninja 650.
The ARAI mileage of Benelli TNT 600GT is 19 kmpl.

Built quality could have been a little better – the touch and feel of the fibre parts is just about acceptable
The tnt is powered by a 600cc inline four-cylinder engine that is good to produce 82bhp at 11,500rpm and 52nm of torque at 10,500rpm. That is a lot of power for Indian roads, so when i say ‘all the power is towards the peak of the rev range’, it is actually a good thing. The motorcycle comes to life at 7,000rpm and delivers substantial punch all the way to a redline of 11,500rpm. There is no punch down the rev range and even sudden throttle input won’t create unnecessary drama, unless you drop a gear or two.
This is an old yamaha r6 engine that can actually rev up to 15,000rpm, but has been detuned and restricted to less than 12,000rpm on this bike. This makes the motorcycle very peaky, but on the plus side restricting the rev range increases the reliability
I have been critical towards the benelli tnt 600i (especially on ride and handling) for the sole reason of putting all the facts together. It is still not a bad choice once you take the price point into consideration. Our sources tell us that the motorcycle is expected to cost around rs 6 lakh and that is a fantastic price for a 600cc inline four-cylinder motorcycle.
The engine could have been a bit more alive, but with sound and the top-end performance it lives up to the core values of a four-cylinder and there are always aftermarket upgrades for some extra performance. The brakes can be upgraded, weight can be reduced and finding a person who is willing to ride pillion over long distance on a 600cc is a task in itself.
The tnt 600 finds competitors in the kawasaki ninja 650, er-6n and hyosung 650, but none of these have the charm of the 600cc four-cylinder (i told you so!) and that in itself is reason enough to overlook all the flaws.

1. Any one who can effort to choose a good tour bike this is it.
2. I have ridden the bike to the worst jumpy bump roads. The ride starts from bangalore to mysore then tamiladu border then oaty ghtas around 600kms riding with this bike was fun an less stress to my back yes i had a breaks in between with full equipped with emergency tools for safety also comes first do remember, i was with my 2 more friends bike of 390 duke , kawasaki 600.
3. My gt has best aero dynamics's while u riding for tourer. You just need to have few things for bike before u plan for long rides 1. A good tires and headlights brakes (abs) & comfort for seater position which you get all this already in the stock bike amazing right..!!! 2. Performance is simple great i had a emergency in my home it was 12 pm in afternoon i have to leave my friends alone an rush to bangalore this showed up 4;40 i was in home 600kms of nonstop riding did stressed me out not physically but mentally thinking about family. I reached saved thanks to the power house benelli tnt gt.
4. Service part is quite expensive 6 to 7k minimum while of servicing.

Although we can ride it anytime anywhere but especially long rides in highway will generate more love for this bike...Who needs 36-24-36 when u can ride a benelli . Beauty+beast....

It's an amazing bike to be driven, optimum for touring but no problem in daily commuting...
The people at the service center are very helpful and humble...
If you are planning to upgrade this a worth bike to buy. This bike can be even modified very nicely and various other features can also be installed without a high expenditure.
