  • Revving up the road a comprehensive review of motorcycle ownership

    Umar Ansari

The buying experience for a motorcycle varies based on location and dealership. However, overall it is relatively easy to purchase a motorcycle.
Riding a motorcycle provides a unique and exhilarating experience. The feeling of freedom and adrenaline rush is unmatched. However, it can also be dangerous and requires proper training and safety precautions.
The looks and performance of a motorcycle depend on the make and model. Some are designed for speed and performance, while others focus on comfort and style. Regular servicing and maintenance are essential to keep a motorcycle running smoothly.
Pros of owning a motorcycle include the freedom to explore and the thrill of riding. Cons include the risk of accidents and exposure to the elements. Overall, owning a motorcycle can be a rewarding experience for those who prioritize safety and responsible riding.

  • SPLENDOR - A affordable gem

    Abhishek Pawar

Super splendor plus, an affordable bike for everyone. Especially to middle-class families. We bought the bike for about 90,000 in installments. My experience with the bike is comfortable, has good mileage, easy to drive. The bike look is attractive, a digital meter is given, USB point, strong body material, good paintwork, protective leg guards, and even 4 people can sit comfortably. 2 services are free in the agency, and 500 - 1000 services are charged after a month or 2. And first aid kit is provided by company. Good and affordable bike, with good mileage, and easy to drive, even after some modifications bike looks awesome.

  • Splendor plus higher the price poorer the quality.

    Nik

Buying experience : Dealer sold this bike to me on a price higher than other hero dealers in entire city. The brand new bike had a tilt, weight is leaned to one side which I figured out after few days. When you ride it, it goes to right side when you leave the handle free. No action was taken from dealer. Never mind. I adopted to it.
    2. Riding experience : Comfortable. Handles good. Handling is on little bit lighter side but planted and stable to go around. Rear suspension is on harder side.
    3. Looks are subjective, acceptable but could be better. Fit finish of plastic is worst in the category. No matter how careful you ride or look after your bike it is going to age very soon. Even metal parts started getting rust in the first year only.
Performance : Punchy engine, 50 km/l of average when riding sensibly. Breaking is very bad. Inefficient on high speeds (around 80kmph) gears aren't smooth. Short gearing makes it a pain in traffic as you need to shift very frequently.
    4. Servicing is considerable but parts are expensive for a bike of this category.
Maintenance : Didn't require much time and attention to maintain. Its not going to die soon.
Pros. Ride quality, mileage, performance of engine.
Cons. Brakes, fit finish of plastic. Side stand quality and placement. Gear shifts.
Verdict : a really good product from hero with cheap materials and poor fit finish. Could have been way better on this price.

  • SPLENDOR - A affordable gem
