Owning a Honda SP 125 for over six months now has been largely reassuring. Its best feature has to be the fuel efficiency which stands out at approximately 65 kmpl, aided by Honda's Eco Technology (HET). The fully digital instrument cluster which includes real-time fuel efficiency, adds a technical touch. However, the Honda SP 125 is not without its issues. The suspension setup is on the stiffer side, resulting in a less comfortable ride on uneven roads. Additionally, the bike's overall design while sleek, might not appeal to everyone looking a bit too conservative for younger riders

1. Buying experience was quite smooth. Got the bike within 10 days2. Riding experience> I haven't ridden a lot of bikes in the same 125cc segment, the only ones I have ridden are the thunderbird350, classic500 and the original fz. All of them were amazing. That being said this bike is comparable to them not better but just comparable. >the suspension is quite good, couldn't feel much of the potholes on the roads. It's a smooth(-ish) ride. >fairly maneuverable. The seating is comfy. Mirrors are decent, you get a good view of what's behind you.>brakes are satisfactory>i do occasionally feel some heat on my right shin. >gear shift is not exactly smooth3. Looks, performance etc>it's not the best-looking bike but it looks quite good for a commuter. >as for performance, I'd say it's satisfactory, you get sufficient torque uphill. >the instrument cluster is clean, it's fairly easy to get a quick glance during a ride. You get a gear shift indicator, a clock, trip a, trip b, instantaneous mileage and average mileage(based on trip a). And you have the usual indicators and horn but the headlights are very convenient. They merged the passing light and the high beam, you can click it so it functions as a blinker and you can click it outwards to turn on the high beam, quite nice. They also merged the engine kill switch and the ignition button so if you press it, you can start the bike.>mileage is probably the best in class, according to the bike I'm getting a little over 80km/l, take from that what you will. I stay under 60kmph so...4. Minimal maintenance cost and it's honda; they have service centers everywhere5. Pros:>it's a commuter >mileage>slightly cheaper than its rival tvs raider> suspensionCons:>occasional heat to my right shin>not exactly heavy>not the smoothest gear shift.
