Kawasaki Ninja 300 [2022] Summary

Kawasaki India has launched the 2022 Ninja 300 in our market. The changes to this iteration of the motorcycle are limited to styling upgrades in the form of new colours.

The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is available in three colours – Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Ebony. While the colours are similar to the 2021 model, the Candy Lime Green and Ebony paint options now feature newer graphics that are visible on the fairing and the fuel tank. The paint theme and the graphics on the Lime Green colour, on the other hand, remain identical to the 2021 version.

The design remains unaltered, and the 2022 Ninja 300 retains the twin-pod headlight, full-fairing design, sporty windscreen, muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, Y-shaped alloy wheels, and side-slung exhaust. The feature list continues to pack a halogen headlight setup, an LED taillight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a dual-channel ABS.

The mechanical specifications, too, remain identical to the 2021 version. Thus, the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 continues to use the BS6-compliant 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that is linked to a six-speed gearbox and tuned to produce 38.4bhp of power and 27Nm of peak torque. The gearbox retains the assist and slipper clutch mechanism.

The hardware on the 2022 version continues with telescopic front forks, a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, petal-type rotors on both ends, and a dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle rivals the likes of KTM RC390 and TVS Apache RR310 in the Indian market.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 [2022] Review

  • Good Things

    • 300cc parallel-twin motor works really well
    • Excellent riding dynamics
    • Slipper clutch works well
  • Could be Better

    • Expensive to maintain
    • Low fuel efficiency

BikeWale's Take

The Ninja 300 is Kawasaki's smallest fully-faired offering belonging to the Ninja series. It packs a potent parallel-twin motor, striking looks and distinct exhaust note, all available at a premium price.

      Bike is really amazing

      Shiva

This bike is really amazing. The price of the bike is also good so my first preferable bike ninja 300. I will purchase is this asap. My first dream bike I love this. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The transmission is easy to upshift/downshift at city speeds but feels a bit unrefined while trying to shift fast. However for drama-free shifts, while tearing up the racetrack or canyons, the gearbox also features a slipper clutch. When we speak about its highway dynamics, we really liked the in-gear roll-on acceleration for overtaking slow-moving traffic and the torquey nature which lets you hold triple-digit speeds for hours on end.

The price is a high smooth ride and good handling at triple-digit speeds. This bike is a beast with good riding capabilities the sitting posture is good for daily rides + long rides with 17 ltr fuel tank drawback is ground clearance while riding with a pillion. Look wise eye catchy like its big brothers zxr's it takes everyone's attention while riding looks like 500 600 cc bike twin a cylinder engine that is very smooth but a beast in high rpm when touches the redline near 14000 rpm the ninja name is enough to grab everyone attention
Servicing side is costly and a drawback because parts are costly & service centers are not available everywhere is nearest is Dehradun 300 kms
      Pros: engine, performance, looks
      Cons: breaks & service part.
