Mahindra Kine Summary
The Mahindra Kine is the entry-level scooter from the Pune-based two-wheeler maker. It has been on sale since the Kinetic days with the same moniker and was passed when the company changed hands around five years ago.
It is powered by a carburettor based, air cooled 71cc petrol engine that produces 3bhp and 5Nm of torque. It gets an automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheel via a chain drive. It is underpinned by a tubular chassis and has a standard suspension setup. In terms of stopping power it gets 112mm drum brakes in the front and the rear.
The step thru also gets a single piece instrument cluster, alloy wheels and an electric start unit as standard features across all variants. Mahindra is offering the Kine in five colours-red, white, lavender and black.
