Mahindra Rodeo is a feature-loaded unisex scooterette targeted at young buyers looking for a peppy city runabout. The Rodeo has done decently well in the market and is one of the good looking scooters on sale today.
The Rodeo features a modern rider interface with a digital speedometer that is available in seven backlight colours. The tachometer, fuel gauge, overspeeding alarm and acceleration timer are all part of the digital console and it also gets a mobile phone charger.
It features clear lens headlamps that at first sight ooze quality. The scooter has a low seat for added convenience and has light controls. It gets an under seat storage of 22 litres, which means more than a half-face helmet can be fitted there.
The Rodeo is powered by a 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that pumps out 8bhp at 7,000rpm and 9Nm at 5,500 rpm. It gets a continuous variable transmission (CVT) that makes it very easy to ride in the city traffic. It can achieve a top speed of a claimed 80kmph and returns 59.38kmpl (ARAI figures).
The Rodeo is 1,790mm long, 650mm wide, 1,110mm high and has a wheelbase of 1,245mm. It gets an ample ground clearance of 154mm and weighs 111kg.
The scooter is available in four colours – Velocity White, Racetrack Black, Victory Violet and Bolt Black. The Rodeo competes with the Suzuki Swish and the Access.
The ARAI mileage of Mahindra Rodeo is 45 kmpl. The average of the Rodeo is 35 kmpl, as per the owners of the bike.

1.Brought this scooter 7 years ago it was good in the beginning buying experience was good.2 Riding experience was ok not great but short computes it's ok l.3 Not much of a looker. Normal looking scooter and the performance was good at the cost of mileage gave only 25 to 30 kms mileage from the beginning.4 servicing is a nightmare service center looks more like storeroom and spent more money than the actual price of the scooter in 7 years 5 pros : good pickup that's it cons: bad mileage regular breakdown a new problem every time. speedometer stopped working after 5 years no spares available so no idea of fuel remaining in tank.Bad suspension Bad wiring causing battery drain...And much more More relieved to hear that this is discontinued.

Hello,I bought mahindra rodeo rz 125 cc when had just started earning monies. It was my first scooter and I was very overwhelmed buying a front-side petrol tank filling option which is hardly seen in scooters. It's been 10 years since I am writing this review.Pro :1. First of it kind of scooter have a front-side petrol tank filling option.2. Mahindra - an Indian brand 3. Average mileage is good than competitors. 4. Good storage capacity 5. Good seating spaceCon's:1. Lack of availability of parts2. Lack of service centers3. Parts are costlier & not easily available4. Digital speedometer gets damaged quickly and even new speedometer doesn't also have issues.5. Doesn't give exact information about petrol in the tank, which may lead you to push vehicle till nearest petrol pump.
