Hero’s popular motorcycle, the Xtreme was also present at the company’s grand unveiling today, albeit in a changed avatar. The changes in the new bike are mostly cosmetic. The Xtreme now sports a street fighter look and comes with new body graphics.
The handle bar is also new along with the addition of winkers, speedometer and a side-stand indicator. The headlamps assembly has been integrated with LED position lights. The rear rubbers are now wider. The rear suspension now has a five-step adjustable Gas Reservoir System as well(GRS).
The Xtreme Sports edition will be available in two variants and five body colour options: Black, Sports Red, Digital Silver Metallic, Black-Sports Red and Abraxas Inferno Orange. Both variants will have electric start and front discs, with the difference being in the rear braking system, one will have drums while the other will have discs.
The bike continues to be powered by the same air-cooled 150cc engine. The Sports edition pumps slightly more power, 15.2bhp and 12.8Nm of torque. The gearbox also remains the same, a five-speed constant mesh system.
