Kawasaki is all set to unveil and launch a new small-capacity motorcycle in December. This information was revealed to the Europe press, intimating them about an event on December 11 and 12 in Spain.
If you are thinking it’s the new Z125 which was revealed at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, then sorry to say, the logistics don't work out. Kawasaki says that this new naked motorcycle hasn’t been homologated for Europe, due to which they won’t be importing to that region at all. This makes us wonder what this new bike is. We hoped for it to be the updated Ninja 300 but realised this was a new bike and not a facelift that we would be expecting.
Interestingly, over the last couple of months, there were some rumours about a new Versys 250 under development. However, not even a single testing prototype was spotted. And for sure, the Japanese manufacturer won’t just reveal a concept model at this media gathering.
The 2015 EICMA is just a couple of days away. And what intrigues us more is that why isn’t Kawasaki debuting this motorcycle at the show rather than having an ellaborate launch later on? This development seems to be quite interesting.
Stay tuned to BikeWale.
