TVS Motor Company has brought back its famous Victor commuter brand today. The company has launched the Victor motorcycle in an 110cc avatar priced at Rs 49,490 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Victor will be positioned between the Star City Plus and the Phoenix. Cosmetically, TVS has taken a very simple yet attractive design approach for this new Victor, making it one of the best looking bikes in the 110cc segment. TVS’ main focus was the driveability as the bike is being positioned in the executive mass market motorcycle segment.
Built around single cradle tubular frame, the new Victor is powered by an 110cc single-cylinder engine that produces 9.4bhp at 7500rpm and peak torque of 9.4Nm at 6000rpm. This engine is mated to a four-speed gearbox. TVS claims that the new Victor has a class leading acceleration and performance, along with an ARAI-approved fuel efficiency of 76kmpl.
The suspension duties of the TVS Victor are taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and a five-step adjustable series dual spring setup in the rear. Comfort was another aspect that the company has focussed on for this bike.
The new Victor is available in six colours – restful red, generous grey, blissful blue, black red, serene silver and beautific black silver. The bike is available with two variants – alloy wheels with drum brakes and alloy wheels with disc brakes, the latter of which is priced at Rs 51,490 (ex-showroom Delhi).
