Bajaj Auto will launch the all new Discover platform at a press conference at their Akurdi facility tomorrow. This new platform will play a very important role in the company’s future strategy that will help them take on Hero MotoCorp’s Splendor brand.
The Pune-based manufacturer are likely to showcase a range of Discover motorcycles that have been based on this new platform. This new platform is expected to become the base for Bajaj’s future Discover models. Along with this new platform, the company might also launch the Discover 100M that will be positioned below the Discover 100T and is expected to be priced close to Rs 45,000 (ex-showroom Pune).
Bajaj has been trying very hard to take on the Splendor brand with the Discover but haven’t been very successful. The sales numbers are really not catching up as predicted but we can expect the new Discover platform to be offered with some decent new features.
