Hero MotoCorp records 20 per cent growth in March 2018

- 7,30,473 units sold last month

- 75 lakh units sold in financial year 2017-18

- To launch four new products this year

Hero Motocorp registered a 20 per cent growth in sales for March 2018.

The manufacturer sold 7,30,473 units last month as compared to the 6,09,951 units it sold in the same month last year.

For the financial year 2017-18, the manufacturer sold a whopping 75 lakh units over previous year’s 66.6 lakh units; a 14 per cent growth. While the current manufacturing capacity is 92 lakh units per year, Hero will add an eighth manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh. With this facility, Hero’s total manufacturing capacity will increase to 1.1 crore units annually. 

Hero recently launched the updated Passion PRO, Passion XPRO and Super Splendor in the Indian market. The manufacturer will also launch the four premium products it showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. These include- the Xtreme 200R, Xpulse, Maestro Edge 125 and Duet 125.
