Royal Enfield Bobber 350 test bike spotted again!

- Will be powered by a 349c single-cylinder engine

- Features revamped styling with a tall handlebar

- Rides on telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks

The Royal Enfield Bobber 350 has been spotted testing once again and the newly surfaced spy shots reveal more details as well. This will be Royal Enfield’s fifth 350cc offering and here’s what we know about it.

The upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350 will be based on the brand’s current platform. Thus, it will borrow the J-series 349cc single-cylinder motor that we have seen on the new Bullet 350, Classic 350, Hunter 350, and the Meteor 350. It develops 20.2bhp and 27Nm and is linked to a five-speed gearbox. However, its chassis could be slightly revised to accommodate the new elements suitable for the Bobber build. For reference, the rear floating seat unit seems unique to the Bobber and could be removable as well. Then, the handlebar, too, is notably tall, which gives an upright rider triangle when paired with the forward set footpegs.

Moreover, unlike the current 350s, the Bobber could get an LED headlight as standard, which would make it look slightly more premium than its siblings. Compared to some of the previously spotted test bikes, this one has more chrome, mainly on the engine and the exhaust setup. On closer inspection, you can also see white-walled tyres on both ends. These are wrapped in spoke wheels, which is common across the Bullet, Hunter, and Classic. But we can also expect Royal Enfield to offer accessory alloy wheels.

Along with an LED headlight, the Bobber 350 could also feature a twin-pod instrument console, including Tripper Navigation. But going by Royal Enfield’s current pattern, the navigation, too, could be offered as an accessory instead of a standard fitment.

Royal Enfield could make an official announcement by the end of this calendar year and we expect the Bobber 350 to cost north of Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s likely to be the only Bobber bike in the 350 segment. However, there would be plenty of other options with similar engine capacity.
