Suzuki to unveil a new Swish at 2017 Tokyo Motor Show

Suzuki is going to unveil the new Swish at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, this month.  Featuring a completely new design language, this scooter might be introduced in the Indian market targeted at a younger audience.

While the old Swish featured a conservative look, this new model gets a trendy design. The apron mounted headlamp, sharp body lines and the edgy styling give it a racy appeal. Suzuki hasn’t revealed details about the powertrain, although we can expect it to get the 125cc powertrain from the Access

The Suzuki Access has emerged as the new cash cow for the brand in the Indian market. Considering the popularity of the Access, Suzuki had to halt the production of the Swish to ensure enough supply to meet the demand. However, there is possibility that Suzuki might reintroduce the Swish in this new avatar in India, to be sold alongside the Access. While the Access features conservative styling, the trendy design of the Swish should make it popular amongst the youth.
