The Triumph Scrambler 400 X is the smallest offering in Triumph’s scrambler lineup and is joined by its sibling, the Speed 400. The motorcycle recently made its global debut in London, UK and is set to be launched in India on 5 July, 2023. Similar to the Speed 400, the motorcycle gets over 25 genuine accessories, which are listed below.
Customers can get these accessories factory-fitted on the Scrambler 400 X via the ‘Make It Yours’ program. These accessories come with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty and are designed by the same engineers that developed the Scrambler 400 X. The accessories are available in three subcategories – Style and Comfort, Luggage, and Protection. Here’s the complete list.
Style and Comfort
This category includes the quilted rider and pillion seats that comes with bespoke stitching, LED bullet indicators that come with machined aluminium bezels and satin black bodies. You also get heated grips for added convenience and different knee pads to enhance the overall styling of the Scrambler 400 X.
Luggage
In terms of luggage options, the Triumph Scrambler 400 X gets a single-side rugged pannier mount, a luggage rack, a semi-rigid top box, a nylon tank bag, and a nylon roll bag.
The top box has a capacity of 30 litres and a payload capacity of 5kg. It is expandable to 35 litres and can accommodate a full-face helmet easily. The top box gets a quick-release mounting mechanism, although you need to buy a separate luggage rack to fit the top box.
Moreover, the list also includes a 30-litre fully waterproof roll bag and an 8.5 litres strap-mounted tank bag. Further, you also get a single side-mounted 20-litre rugged pannier mount, which includes a key lockable mounting system for added security. It has a payload capacity of 5kg.
Protection
In the Protection category, the Triumph Scrambler 400 X gets accessories like a fly screen for wind deflection, a beak-style mud splash mudguard, a steel mesh radiator guard, and an aluminium sump guard.
There’s also a GPS tracker kit, upper and lower engine protection bars, and a stylish tank pad.
