Triumph Motorcycles has launched a special version of the Speed Triple 1200 RR to celebrate 60 years of the James Bond franchise.
The motorcycle is limited to just 60 units worldwide, however, there is no word about its India launch timeline yet. The Speed Triple 1200 RR James Bond edition in the UK is priced nearly Rs 3.68 lakh over the standard variant. And it comes with cosmetic enhancements to set it apart and justify its limited-edition tag.
To begin with, the bike Speed Triple 1200 RR sports a black paint scheme with the gun barrel design of Bond film’s opening sequence etched on the bubble fairing. There also is 007 graphics in places and all 25 James Bond titles on the fuel tank. That’s not all, the limited-edition motorcycle also gets gold Triumph logos and gold lining that is hand painted as well as individual numbering on the top yoke for authenticity.
Other than the stealthy exterior, the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR Bond Edition remains the same. It comes with semi-active Ohlins, aluminum twin-spar chassis and a 1160cc, 178bhp engine like the Speed Triple RS streetfighter.
