Yezdi has announced two new colours for the Roadster in the Indian market ahead of the high-demand festive season. The motorcycle, which was previously available in five matte colours, now gets two more paint options – Inferno Red and Glacial White. The new paint options join the existing palette that comprises – Smoke Grey, Steel Blue, Hunter Green, Gallant Grey, and Sin Silver.
Both colour options get a gloss finish on the fuel tank and the Obsidian Black theme running across the motorcycle. The latest Yezdi Roadster duo are christened as Fire & Ice. Both paint options have been priced at Rs 2,01,142 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Speaking about the new paint options, Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO, Classic Legends, said that the Yezdi Roadster has been one of the most popular models for the company. The new Inferno Red and Glacial White colours infuse new energy into the Roadster range.
The changes are limited to the addition of new paint themes. The specifications and the features, on the other hand, remain unaltered. Thus, the motorcycle continues to use the 334cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 29.29bhp at 7,300rpm and 29Nm at 6,500rpm. The Yezdi Roadster rivals the likes of Royal Enfield Meteor 350 in the Indian market. Interestingly, the Royal Enfield, too, received new colours albeit in the UK market.
