The buying experience is best but its maintenance is too bad it’s mileage is good but looking is not good headlight is not comfortable on night rides and the colour combination is also not good but purchase matters it’s budget-friendly and it’s only for small distance travel and daily life rides so overall nice.

Pulsar-135 Ls a game changer in Indian sports look biking
2 years ago

Its been more than 11 years I am using pulsar 135 Ls. It is the first in sport look category by Bajaj. Stylish headlamps, comfortable front and back seating captures your eye. It is a bike designed to attract the youth market. I purchased 135 Ls in 2011, ridden for more than 70,000 kms so far. The longest at a stretch ride was for 650 kms and didn't find any glitch. Being a trekker, i had ridden my bike throughout Karnataka, in difficult roads, hills and off road. However the bike has its own pros and cons.Pro's1. Stylish look, comfortable seating2. 50+ mileage 3. 14 litre fuel tank to support long drive4. Attractive pricing5. Low maintenance costCons 1. Very slow pick up, particularly once you cross 50,000 kms you feel little uncomfortable in highways 2. Vehicle starts vibrating as you reach 80 km/h.3. Poor road grip. I have experienced many times4. Rough seating. Pillion rider seating is not comfortable 5. Engine is the biggest problem. I had to shell out 10,000 to rework once the vehicle crossed 50,000 kms. Bajaj is an established brand. Since the day I purchased didn't find any glitch in servicing the vehicle. After sales service it is also good. Overall appearance of vehicle is stylish sports look. Need improvement in on-road performance.

1. Buying a second-hand bike in march 20202. This bike is lightweight around 122 kg .Good handling, good top speed, and good mileage when well maintained.Millage 55 above in my rural area.3 .Pulsur135 is a stylish light sport and city ride bike. Performance is better like 150 cc bike 13.5ps and 11nm torque. Enough in this segment of power and torque.4. This bike is discontinued now so spare parts find too late. Spare parts reason only for me servicing cost aruond800 5. Pros: more power, better mileage, and stylish look baby pulsarCons: neutral in the start bike is a problem, in high speed feel the vibration.

Bike is good but having less life span performance down after few years...

I bought this bike from a local dealer, riding experience is good and really comfortable. Clip on the handlebar makes it more comfortable and also adds styling looks to the bike. The bike looks more stylish. It was called that time 'baby pulsar'. Performance was good at the time of the initial days I achieved roughly 110 kmph speed but after 4-5 years it goes down. Mileage of bike was initially 50-55 kmpl late on it drop significantly to 35-40. I spend so much on repairs & maintenance. This model become now outdated and discontinue by the company.

Sporty looks, excellent pickup like all other pulsar variants, stable on road, suspensions are on the stiffer side, slite engine noise, oil leak issue initially but it was repaired in the first service. Split seats may cause less comfort to pillion riders on a long drive, mileage is better than 150 cc plus bikes, and overall excellent riding experience.
