Powerful machine with beautiful looks

Madhusudan Singh

Awesome bike vibration-free engine and if you are shifting gears properly than the mileage would be above 40kmpl. Torque, power, everything good about it. I also had a good service experience at its showroom.
Pros-
1. Mileage 40+kmpl
2. breaks, perfect breaks are one of the best features of this bike, it's a heavy machine but breaking is so perfect.
3. powerful engine, bike moves like a rocket, vibration-free
4. Perfect look, looks more bulky than RE.
5. weight management, 187kg bike looks like a very light bike due to its perfect weight management.
Cons-
1. The main LED light setup could be better.
2. Some yellowish colour formed at the beginning of the silencer due to heat.

CB350 review

The buying experience was good. The Build quality is also good.
The riding is also fine, but above 80Kms it needs some effort to pull.
Here are my Pros and Cons
Pro's:
The Honda Badging
Build Quality
Cons:
The biggest drawback is engine, which is Air-cooled, I'm surprised that Honda gave a 350 CC engine an Air-cooled option, it should be Oil or Liquid Cooled. Because of Air cooled engine, it heats like anything, and you can feel that while driving in traffic and on long rides as well. Didn't expect this.
The Service costs are too much, it's not that we use the bike for long rides, we use for daily commutes also, hence whenever i go for servicing they tell me that Brake pads, Clutch pads etc. need to be changed. That's ridiculous, when asked they said we should not be driving that much in heavy traffic, and we should not apply pressure on brakes. So disappointed here as well.
I get a message saying that some defective parts needs to be replaced after 1 year of purchasing the vehicle, its related to breaking and ABS, which was never told to me for all 4 free services. So, it's not a good approach by Honda.
Overall, purchase this if you want to occasionally travel in heavy traffic and frequent long drives. I won't suggest this for city drives, Family drives etc.
The mileage is also not that great, in traffic conditions i get around 25kms.

Tips for other riders

The Air-cooled engine is not suitable for 350cc engines, it's a blunder from Honda. The service costs are very high, and you cannot drive this vehicle in heavy traffic conditions. It's a bike for leisure rides, so spend 250K for leisure rides only, not suitable for city and family.

It's an amazing machine. It's running like a butter. There is no vibration even when you cross 100km. I had Thunderbird it vibrated like anything even at 75km. It literally gives me more pleasure for me to drive. As far as service there are no issues. It gives a mileage of around 35 km. For highway driving it's like divine and when you cruise in the hilly region.

Great Bike

Rohit

The riding experience is great and looks good as the trust for the Honda. The bike is overall good and the service and comfort both is commendable. The mileage in this segment also matches the segment's criteria and in my opinion, the instrumental cluster and look can be modified for the new generation.

Beast with retro beauty! RE lovers, loves Honda CB350!

Vinodh Rajagopalan

Buying Experience: I bought this bike from Yelahanka, Big Wing showroom, Bangalore, my buying experience was so easy as I took the test drive twice before purchasing this beauty. I had gone for the RE Meteor and accidentally happened to see this retro beauty which was far better than the classic RE 350 and still, we wanted to test drive both on the same day. I have been riding this beauty past 3 weeks and am taking it for daily commutation for about 70 to 100 km per day and I never feel the tiredness riding this beast. You can maintain the 3rd gear throughout and there is no requirement to change the gears in traffic because of the slipper clutch which enhances your riding, unlike other bikes. The space for rider and pavilion are so nicely provided in this retro beauty where you have ample space and can comfortably ride without any hassle. In the case of small kids, a family of 3 can also go in this with having enough space for all. Certainly, a head-turner, and the looks are quite awesome when everyone gets puzzled by the bullet. The components are placed at the right place and performance is really good at this point with decent mileage along the good pickup. The thug sound of this bike is so pleasing and you can hear it all day long and it never irritates your heart. I have never felt the vibration in this beauty even at the speed of 110 and it is sturdy and very easy to man hover even at higher speeds. I am yet to give my first service but heard the service cost is pretty reasonable and since Bigwing showrooms have recently popped up, there might be limited showrooms for now and would recommend checking the showrooms as servicing and maintenance periodically is very important. Best retro bike with good specifications which will be loved by all and most importantly, this gives the feel of pleasure when you ride in the road without being stressed. Dual channel ABS with slipper clutch is the most important factor and you feel the importance of it when you drive in high traffic and speed in the highway. I liked it very much. The exhaust of this bike gives an eye-opener. It comes with a split seat and you have Bluetooth connectivity in the DLXpro version. A dual horn is another boon to this bike which gives a good amount of sound for riding safely. Honda known for its engines has certainly maintained their standards as expected. There could be a leg guard provided at this price range, unlike the other bikes which is very essential. No other cons. to be highlighted at this point.
