Kawasaki Ninja 300 [2021] Summary

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 has been launched in India at a price premium over the BS4 model. Yet, the Ninja 300 remains the most affordable Kawasaki motorcycle in the Indian market.

The company’s highest-selling model has received mechanical upgrades to comply with the newest emission norms. Despite complying with the newer, more stringent emission norms, Kawasaki has retained the powered output numbers from the BS4 model. The BS6-compliant, 296cc, parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor on the Ninja 300 makes 38.8bhp at 11,000rpm and 26.1Nm of peak torque at 10,000rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox that benefits from a slipper and an assist clutch function.

The overall design remains similar to the BS4 model, although Kawasaki has updated the colour palette and the graphics to the Ninja 300 BS6. The motorcycle will be sold in three colour options – Lime Green with KRT graphics, Candy Lime Green, and Ebony. The latter two feature honey-comb graphics on the fairing. The styling cues retain a twin-pod headlight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and split-style seats.

The frame and the cycle parts, too, remain similar to the BS4 model. Thus, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 continues to use a diamond frame. The suspension setup includes 37mm telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock.The anchoring duties are performed by a 290mm disc at the front and a 220mm single rotor at the back while the safety net includes dual-channel ABS.

While the Kawasaki Ninja 300 doesn’t have a direct rival, it faces some competition from the likes of TVS Apache RR310 and the KTM RC390.

Its a beautiful machine ,it is no less then super bike for people who use to ride 150 cc single cylinder bike. It goes 100 in no time ,very refined engine. The rare problem is its ground clearance with pillion onboard you cant even pass a small size speed breaker , other than this machine is 10 on 10.

I wanted to get a bike which no one in the neighborhood has everyone had ktm's Jawa, R15 etc. But no one had this bike so i thought lets do this. Its been around 2.5 months and God do i love this bike. It doesn't have any good digital features that's a loss but the absolute power of this beast.

You may find that it lacks some digital features than many of the bikes Nowadays the ground clearance is also low so you have to be cautious. But this right here is a keeper. Go for it you won't regret

Its a great ride. No heat issues like other brands
So smooth parallel twin. Decent mileage of 30 with combination of city and highway. No vibrations at all! Great looks. Head turner on the roads
Sports feel. Upright posture. Slightly rare set foot pegs for sporty feel.
      Can tour seamlessly. Awesome package!
      Cons:
Missing Led head lights (Can be replaced ourselves)
      Missing Instrumental Cluster
