Bajaj Auto has taken off the Pulsar 180F semi-faired bike from its official India website. This could be an indication that the motorcycle has been discontinued, which has also been affirmed by some of our dealer sources. However, we are yet to get an official confirmation from the company. The fact that Bajaj recently brought back the naked Pulsar 180 backs our speculation of discontinuation of its semi-faired F version.
The Bajaj Pulsar 180F was launched in February 2019 in India. The motorcycle is visually identical to the Pulsar 220F which has always been very popular for its styling. In all likelihood, Bajaj attempted to further cash in on this design with the 180F. But it seems like the demand for the naked Pulsar 180 is higher which encouraged Bajaj to bring it back after discontinuing it for a while.
Apart from the visual differences, the naked Pulsar 180 and the faired F version are identical in all areas. Powering the bikes is a 178.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled mill which churns out 16.7bhp and 14.52Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels which are suspended by telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers. Braking is handled by a disc at both ends assisted by single-channel ABS.
