The 2018 Triumph Tiger 1200 will reach the dealership next month in the United Kingdom. Ahead of that, Triumph has announced the prices of the adventure bike which starts at GBP 12,200 (Rs 10.53 lakhs) in the UK.
The new Triumph Tiger 1200 was unveiled at the 2017 EICMA Show in Italy earlier this month. Apart from dropping ‘Explorer’ from its moniker, Triumph has updated the flagship adventure touring motorcycle with a redesigned body and additional features.
The British bike maker has also added two ‘Expedition’ variants to the existing six Tiger 1200 models. The Expedition variants add a set of luggage to the top-of-the-line XRT and XCA guise.
The Tiger is the most popular model in the Triumph’s Indian line-up. Triumph India is expected to introduce the new 2018 Tiger 1200 and the Tiger 800 in the country sometime next year, although not all of these will end up in our showrooms. When launched in India, it will be priced slightly above the current range.
