The Royal Enfield Continental GT café racer was first unveiled at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. It was launched in the global markets in the middle of 2013 and is now available in India.
The retro looking Continental-GT has been built from ground-up and gets the double downtube chassis instead of Royal Enfield’s traditional single downtube chassis.
The Continental GT gets the UCE engine from the Classic 500 which has been re-bored for an increased capacity of 535cc. This engine churns out 29.1bhp of power and 44Nm torque. The 535cc motorcycle gets brembo disc brake in the front and bybre disc at the rear which gives it more than enough stopping power. The machine also gets a remapped ECU and Paioli suspension. The Continental GT is available in two shades GT Red, GT Black and GT Yellow.
The Continental GT is the fastest and lightest single-seater motorcycle from the Royal Enfield and is being rolled out from the company’s new facility at Oragadam near Chennai.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT is priced at Rs 2.05 lakh (on-road Delhi) and Rs 2.14 lakh (on-road Mumbai). The production capacity of this motorcycle will be lower than rest of the range, but with steep price so will the demand.
The ARAI mileage of Royal Enfield Continental GT [2013 - 2018] is 26 kmpl. The average of the Continental GT [2013 - 2018] is 27 kmpl, as per the owners of the bike.

Dear Re team,I have been waiting for the last couple of days for your sales team to contact and clarify the hidden cost kept between the online and the showroom. price however there is no sign of interest in doing business from your side. It's very upsetting to get such kind of different pricing. Kindly cancel my booking and do the refund process asap possible, it was really a horrible experienceWith the Re.
