Royal Enfield saw a need in the market for an urban cruiser, and this is the result: the Thunderbird 350X. It gets a similar driveline as the regular Thunderbird 350, but there are a few changes. One, it is available in bright, single-tone colours in the same vein as the Classic Redditch series. The 350X is available in red or white. The handlebar is a flatter, wider one, which should help with manoeuverability in the city. It gets all-black treatment, which extends to the alloy wheels. This is the first time a Royal Enfield has been shipped with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres from the factory. It gets the same 346cc carburetted single-cylinder air-cooled engine from the Thunderbird 350. It generates 19.8bhp and 28Nm and transmits it via a five-speed gearbox. The wheels are a 19-inch front and an 18-inch rear. There are disc brakes at both ends, with a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear one. ABS is now an option that makes the 350X Rs 6000 dearer. The seat of the Thunderbird 350X has been changed – it is a more modern-looking one. The rider’s seat is wider, and the pillion seat is smaller.
The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X competes with the likes of the Bajaj Dominar 400 directly. Bikes like the Yamaha Fazer 25 also cater to a similar audience, although it is a different format of motorcycle.
The average of the Thunderbird 350X is 35 kmpl, as per the owners of the bike.

The Thunderbird 350X is a fantastic motorcycle. I've owned one for a year now, and I've had a great experience with it. The bike's design is a perfect blend of classic and modern, and the matte finish adds a touch of sophistication. So overall experience is awesome, value for money, and the person will not regret it, according to price point of view.

The worst bike I have used in my life, I started with a yamaha rxg 1999-2014 moved to tvs-fiero then tbts .Royal Enfield is the worst manufacturer of the 3, with constant failures, and replacement of parts.I am from a mech background and can understand the grade of steel hardness etc. Royal Enfield is the worst quality part in terms of material. Be it chassis engine electricals forks/shocks every department.I don't know how many times the center stand has been welded. Changed wiring harness once battery once in 3 yrs tank once fork seals more than 5 times so its a piece of cheap quality junk parts which works well at the beginning.

Tips for other riders
make quality parts don't compromise in places where it's essential, the choices of grades of steel very import can you believe disc caliper pistons rust, front fork chrome plating peels off, center stand breaks and falls off.

Worth buying thunderbird 350x
Mr Azhar
It is worth buying thunderbird 350x. Bike is having a comfortable ride in city as well as highways. You won't have any backache issues while riding thunderbird 350x. It is capable of riding long distances. Its always pleasure and privilege to own RE but you have to maintain it… you should be able to handle it properly.

The only re bike with x factor

Got the bike from the garage cafe in baga.Comparing it to thunderbird 350, thunderbird x is more comfortable.Suspension is rigid. It is still one of the best looking royal enfield bikes.Getting mileage of about 35 to 40 km/l.The handlebar was short so I got a standard thunderbird handlebar. Overall a great bike. Now thunderbird is called a failed bike in the Indian market but you will not regret owning one.Great value for money.

I lover very much interested in this 350X bcoz previously I used Bullet Electra.I have been using this bike last 3 years, regularly facing vibration issues, and the speedometer fuel gauge not working properly Even 2times service attended at the RE service center still has not settled this above-listed problem. So I am not suggesting this bike.
