My 1st bike and it's literally beyond my expectation. I wanted to buy a bike with a retro look royal Enfield 350x was my choice but the budget was the issue and then this beautiful gorgeous-looking bike was launched. I am falling in love with yamaha fzx, great look, beautiful body with a modern touch and the mileage woo la la. 45 - 55 kmpl is the average millage, and on a long drive, I get 60 kmpl. Yamaha fzx is so comfortable to sit on, I am very very happy to choose this bike.

This is a perfect mid range cruiser bike with daily commute support and a good turning radius that is missing in the other bike of this range that is avenger
If comfort + cruise + mid budget is goal then this is the best in this segment.
I've drove constant 68km without any back pain which anyone will face in other 150cc range bikes like gixxer, mt, pulsar or apache..

I wanted to buy re meteor, but couldn't afford the waiting period. Riding comfort was my primary concern. I saw yamaha fz-x for the first time at a showroom when it was first launched.
Every time I stop at a traffic signal, people ask about its price and overall performance. Trust me everybody take a moment and notice it's design especially the led headlamp.
As the production is low thus the number of fz-x is low on street. So get this bike a get noticed among the traffic and crowd.
    Pros
    Riding posture
    Riding comfort
Mileage 60 km/l (for daily commute at average speed 50-65 km/h).... You can check mileage through yamaha connect app
    Headlight (looks like transformer movie)
    Smooth suspension
    All metal body
    Fantastic colour (mine's blue)
    Many scope for modifications
    Unique design
    Cons
    Top speed doesn't exceed 95 km/h
    Engine bit underpowered.
    No led indicators

The actual look of the bike is totally different than picture. Very comfortable for ride. Off road driving experience is also very good. For city and highway its too good if you like to drive 80-90 km/h. Required some more power for highway. Overall comfortable bike. Good - look, riding position & comfort. Bad - required some more power but its not the con for rejection of the bike.

I test drove the bike. No torque, looks are very bad. Not well balanced finish. Stop buying this bike as Yamaha India is forcing you to buy this bike instead of XSR.
Better buy hornet 2.0 or apache 400v in this price.
Hope Honda comes with cb250r and catch the market of XSR.
Shame on Yamaha India, they produce best bikes for Indonesia only.

Just go to the Yamaha showroom and watch it with your naked eye...Photos do not justice this beauty...It is modern retro looking bike with good specifications. Yes the raw power is slightly underwhelming but it will not affect your daily commuting experience. The bluetooth connectivity is amazing. Just go for it..

    1. irrespective of price point it is a very good bike and the behaviour of the staff at the showroom is also very decent and cooperative. If you buy it for daily commuting you will not be disappointed
    2. the bike is a little bit high with a seat height of 810mm but believe me it feels like 830+ due to its wide seat it will be difficult for short riders to flat foot on the ground. But its ground clearance is not good it touches high bumps if you are riding with a healthy pillion.
It is very easy to ride in the city and on highways also
Its wide tyres give you extra confidence while cornering but it doesn't provide ABS in the rear disc brake so if you push it hard the rear wheel skids but it is manageable
Next, the turning radius of the bike is not so good. You need a large space to take a complete U-turn
The engine is butter smooth and there is zero vibration up to 80
It provides Bluetooth connectivity but it must be improved as it can't automatically connect with the mobile a maximum number of times
    3. Looks are subjective but looks like a bigger cc bike and its muscular looks often attract people's attention
    4. maintenance cost is affordable but the price of parts is a little bit higher side
    5. conclusion
    Pros-
    @ Looks big.
@easy to ride and handle in traffic.
    @ zero vibration.
    @ good mileage around 50.
@ projector, head lamp is very good at night.
    Cons-
@ not for short riders <5.6
    @not good ground clearance
@ feels lack of power while overtaking

Basically Yamaha fzx is the cruiser version of fzs v3. I am riding both bike. Fzx refinement is slightly better than fzs. There is no vibration at 5000 rpm. Which is a sign of engine refinement of Yamaha and headlight of fzx is op killer it will be better if they give more power to the vehicle. But bluetooth features is so modern. You can use it on various purpose. So Yamaha finally launch the powerless Yamaha xsr155.

12 to 14 km speed decreased during riding on highway from plain area to upper area (flyover). Seat is not fitted well. Giving high noise from engine when speed reaches upto 60 km/h.
Buying experience was good. Staff are very good and helpful.
Look is good but back side requires to be updated. Looks like a moped.

    1. irrespective of price point it is a very good bike and the behaviour of the staff at the showroom is also very decent and cooperative.
    @not good ground clearance

I wanted to buy re meteor, but couldn't afford the waiting period. Riding comfort was my primary concern. I saw yamaha fz-x for the first time at a showroom when it was first launched.
Every time I stop at a traffic signal, people ask about its price and overall performance. Trust me everybody take a moment and notice it's design especially the led headlamp.
As the production is low thus the number of fz-x is low on street. So get this bike a get noticed among the traffic and crowd.
    Pros
    Riding posture
    Riding comfort
Mileage 60 km/l (for daily commute at average speed 50-65 km/h).... You can check mileage through yamaha connect app
    Headlight (looks like transformer movie)
    Smooth suspension
    All metal body
    Fantastic colour (mine's blue)
    Many scope for modifications
    Unique design
    Cons
    Top speed doesn't exceed 95 km/h
    Engine bit underpowered.
    No led indicators
