  • Tamable beast Yexdi Adventure

    Dheekshayan

The showroom was more than willing to give me all model bikes for a test ride. I visited the Yezdi showroom after riding Himalayan 411. I was amazed when I rode Yexdi Adventure with the power that it can deliver.
Looks may be intimidating for other bike owners. It has a beast-like road presence. It is an 'SUV' in bikes.
I am lucky to have OMR Perungudi Chennai as my service center because I have heard bad reviews about other state SCs.
I have ridding 1758 Km in 5 days during my road trip in Kerela and Tamilnadu. Below details are after this ride.
    Pros -
    Riding stability
    Braking
Cruising at 110 with fully loaded luggage and pillion.
    Suspension
    Cons-
    Weight
Riding in the city in the summer
Tube tires (fortunately I have not faced puncture to date)
Seats are not comfortable for more than 100 km at single stretch.

  • Don't buy yezdi adventure without reading this ownership review 6000km

    Aravind

    1. Bought my yezdi adventure on feb 2. The buying experience was very good and booked the bike on jan 29. I purchased the accessories like tank cage 4.2k handguard 3k, and engine guard 700rs.
    2. According to my experience riding a bike on the highway is like heaven. Whenever you hit a bump on road the bike will float, but inside the city, you will feel lots of heat coming from the radiator directly to your right foot. And handling the city traffic is a bit difficult for beginners due to the weight of the bike. In city traffic conditions I get mileage around 26kmpl. On the highway for the cruising speed of 80 to 90, I got a mileage of 31.5kmpl. You can easily cruise up to 120 without any vibrations, more than that you will feel the vibration around the handlebar, footpegs, and fuel tank. In offroads the low-end torque was lacking, you need to keep your rpm more than 2k. In touring, I rode 580kms in a day without any effort and body pain. The bike goes without any struggle all day.
    3. Bike looks like a huge machine when you ride on the road every once eyes will be on your bike for sure. All the led units it is bright but on night ride you need an aux light for sure, bike will be suitable for more than 5.6 feet.
    4. I completed 2 free services each service cost me around 1.8k. They will change the engine oil, oil filter, gasket, chain lube, and clean. You need to do chain clean and lube every 500kms to get a long life for the chain sprocket.
    5. Pros - highway cruising speed
    comfort
    luggage carrying capacity
Cons - heating issue - it will produce more and more heat.
rusting issue - it will start rusting in a month you need to properly check the nuts and bolts.
low-end torque - handling inside city traffic conditions is a bit difficult for beginners you need to use your clutch a lot.
Problems I faced on this bike: spare parts availability as it launched recently there will very less parts available in the service center. You need to wait a long for any spares. So don't meet with an accident so need to struggle a lot to get spares.

Bike feels very good to ride and look wise also very attractive. When ever i go on road every one ask about the bike. There are some disadvantage also
1.Heating issues - you can't able to handle the heat on city traffic conditions. Always wear shoes to avoid.
2.Mileage - in city traffic the mileage in very less 22 to 26. In highway it gives around 30.
3.Weldings - some parts welding's are very exposed and not grained properly. And the paints started peel of.
4.Low end torque - you needs to shift gear a lot in traffic because the power output was come around 4500 rpm.
Other than that everything was fine.

  • Yezdi adventure review an exciting ride with a few caveats

    Archit

    Rating: 3.5/5
Having spent the last two months with the Yezdi adventure, I'm ready to share my experience with this motorcycle. From the buying process to the riding experience, and everything in between, here's what you need to know:
The buying experience was relatively smooth, with dealerships providing adequate information and assistance. However, availability may vary, so it's advisable to check with multiple dealers before making a purchase.
When it comes to riding, the Yezdi adventure truly excels. Its powerful engine ensures thrilling performance, delivering quick acceleration and impressive speed. Handling is smooth and refined, making it a pleasure to navigate through different terrains. The bike's stylish looks and attention to detail also make it stand out from the crowd.
On the downside, some riders have reported feeling the heat on their right leg during longer rides. This discomfort can be attributed to the bike's design and may require adjustments for a more comfortable experience. Additionally, a few owners have faced rusting issues, emphasizing the need for regular maintenance and protective measures.
Speaking of maintenance, servicing, and upkeep is crucial for optimal performance. While the bike doesn't require frequent servicing, it's essential to follow the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure longevity and reliability.
In summary, the Yezdi adventure offers an exciting riding experience with its powerful performance and attractive design. However, it does have some drawbacks, such as the heat felt on the right leg and potential rusting issues. Nevertheless, with proper care and adjustments, these issues can be mitigated. If you're seeking a thrilling ride and are willing to invest in maintenance, the Yezdi adventure could be a suitable choice.

  • Wonderful ride

    Rishi

I did a solo trip from Bangalore to Mumbai and covered 1008 km in 2 days after my second servicing. It was such a joy to ride on 6 lane highways. It's easy to mount to 120-125 km/hr any day. It's a sweet spot on 6th gear. The power output is amazing. People will surely stare when you are stuck in traffic or have parked in the spotlight.
The instrument console is bright and informative. Trust me when I say the brakes are amazing and highly reliable. I bought it on my birthday with my savings and I do care about my spending.
I must say that it was very well spent. I am proud to own this machine.

  • You will not regret after buying this.! best in this segment.!

    Sachin Inamdar

People nowadays are obsessed with brands. Maybe sometimes the old brands are the best ones to trust.! However, if you ask me, don’t just go with what everyone says. Feel it, ride it, and express it.!
I made the decision of upgrading my bike since I always dreamt of owning a strong machine. When searching in the market and considering our Indian roads, I felt the adv segment is the best.! I rode multiple bikes and then caught my eye on yezdi adventure.!
At first, I thought there is nothing new, but when I went for a test ride then I didn’t think twice. This machine is a powerhouse.! you feel you are riding a vehicle that has a great amount of power and comfort.!
Trust me guys, it’s been close to 10 months and I have ridden around 8000 kms. You will simply love this bike.!
I literally ride it every day to my office and have even been on long rides.! comfort is next level.! you won’t feel tired even after riding for 150kms straight. Not promoting here but giving my honest opinion.
    Pros:
    • amazing looks which will make people turn back and check out the bike.
    • digital meter makes your life simpler, with accurate routes, fuel indicator(shows the distance which can be traveled), Bluetooth, and charging option.
•braking system is at the best.! crazy
    • suspension is mind-blowing.! even the pillion rider will sit at ease.
    • power is great.!
•very good seats and the three abs modes will certainly help in adjusting according to the need.!
    Cons:
•don’t ever try to go far with normal pants and slippers.! engine produces heat on the right leg side.
•milage is around 25-26 km/l which will burn your pocket.
    • in traffics, go back to the first gear since you can’t drive it easily in 2 or 3 gear. (slow-moving traffic)
    • don’t be surprised if the tire gets punctured in 1-2 months. This is the greatest fear for sure.
•no center stand and this might be sometimes annoying when you are traveling long distances.
    • service stations are fewer and there might some limitations in getting proper service.
Overall, I would still vote for this monster over Himalayan.

  • Go for it if you want a powerful and comfortable touring machine

    Anand

The buying experience was good. The process was smooth and yezdi adv was delivered to me with a delay of 15 days (not much of an issue but thought of mentioning it).
    Performance and comfort :
    -----------------------------------------
You easily cruise at 100 kmph on this bike all day long. At 100 to 110 kmph the engine revs at 5.5k to 6k rpm at 6th gear without any stress. There are no vibrations at these speeds. The torque delivery is linear. So you won't feel any abrupt power delivery. Above 6k rpm the bike picks up speed really quickly till 140 kmph, the sweet spot is between 105 kmph to 125 kmph.
The bike pulls really nicely till 7500 to 8000 rpm. On highways, the bike really performs well.
If you are in 6th gear you may need to gear down to 5th or 4th for quick overtakes.
    Seat comfort
    -------------------------------
Seats are really comfortable for both riders and pillions. I did not feel any back pain in long rides, the same feedback I got from pillions. I was able to easily do 150 to 160 km in one go without breaks.
    Mileage and service cost
    ----------------------------------------
I am getting a mileage of 30 to 35 kmpl on highways, I mostly ride at speeds between 70 to 110 kmph.
1st servicing has been done and I am satisfied. Service interval is 6 months or 6k km. Free service will cost around 1500 to 2000 rupees, and paid service will cost 700 to 800 rs more.
Engine smoothness has increased after 1st service.
    Headlight and breaks
    -------------------------------
Headlights are decent for cities and highways. But if you mostly travel at night you may need aux lights. Breaks both front and rear and perform really well.
    Pros :
    - good power and excellent highway speeds
    - decent offloading capabilities
    - excellent seats and riding comfort
    - good mileage for 300cc + engine
    - good built quality
    Cons
    - spoke wheels
    - service network.

  • Worthy touring bike under 3lac range.

    Vinay

Absolutely superb, I have ridden himalayan and yezdi adventure both for 3 months, based on this experience I will vote for yezdi adventure, because of these points,
1, ride quality, 2. Engine refinement, 3, seating comfort, 4, road stability, 5, features on offers 6, riding position, range on offer 7 connectivity on offer, 8 pillion comfort,9, usb phone charging as standard,10, decent wind blasting. These are my honest opinion, definitely, the bike is just awesome to ride, easily you can ride 1000kms per day without any issues, they say suspension setup is too hard but for Indian road conditions it works fine no doubt about it.
