The Pulsar RS200 is the flagship model in Bajaj’s Pulsar family and it is the only fully-faired motorcycle in the manufacturer’s line-up. Marketed as the fastest Pulsar yet, the Pulsar RS200 is designed to be a compact sportsbike. Unlike other fully-faired motorcycles like the Yamaha YZF-R15, the RS200 doesn’t have as aggressive riding stance as of a super sport motorcycle. The riding position is slightly upright and is suitable for mild touring.
The Pulsar RS200 is powered by same 200cc engine that powers the naked Pulsar NS200. However, in order to suit its sporty character, the powerplant has been tuned to deliver more performance as compared to the NS. This fuel-injected, four-valve, liquid-cooled motor churns out 24.2bhp at 9750rpm and 18.7Nm at 8000rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and the rated top speed stands at 140.8kmph.
Cosmetically, the Pulsar RS200 is the most aggressive-looking bike in Bajaj’s portfolio. While the projector lamp was first introduced in the Pulsar 220F, the RS200 gets dual projectors. The overall design cues are quite muscular with several creases and contours making it a very busy design. The exhaust canister is styled quite neatly and compliments the overall motorcycle design.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is available in three paint schemes – Burnt Red, Metallic Pearl White and Pewter Grey. In terms of competition, it goes up against the Yamaha YZF R15 V3.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is powered by a 199.5 cc air-cooled engine which produces 24.5 PS @ 9750 rpm of power. It has a fuel tank of 13 L and a claimed mileage of 35 kmpl. This bike is not for long rides. This bike has killer looks. Bajaj servicing is very good. Maintenance cost is average. The bajaj pulsar rs 200 is an impressive sports bike that offers excellent value for money. The first service after 500 km, the second service after 4500 km and the third service after 9500 km is free of cost. best bike I guess in the 200cc segment as I have used it for a daily purpose i was really comfortable in that it has a very good rider seat as well as the rear seat.

The buying experience was good for me.Riding experience is always good because performance is like awesome About looks now this bike needs an update in looks and also in engine power If the bike is steady for a long time then it can affect your pocket. Bike needs to 5-10 km ride in 2/3 daysThe cons are not much but the bike is not in proper maintenance then it starts vibration while driving some times meter doesn't work properly, & flow of headlight needs to be improved.

The bike is amazing, though it is a sports bike it never offers a handle like R15 or KTM RC series. The mileage is to good (35-40 kmpl) as it is a 200 CC and 24 BHP engine. I covered nearly 650 kilometers of hilly plus plain area in 21 hours, with no back pain or tired. Its only cons are vysor vibrating sound and no double stand for tyre changing or any other maintenence in locally. I ride with it for 30k kilometers in 5 years. In 30k kilometers I changed its chain packet, both tires just now, the rear shock absorber and the battery. I don't know if it's fair or not.

Used stylish black Pulsar RS 200 (ABS) with great handling and amazing reliability over the last few years. The pickup is still great for the given price, and the ride feel is superb. Great to commute around town and get heads rolling. The bike has comprehensive insurance coverage along with a GSM Bajaj AMC.

My first bike and I love it

What I like. Engine performance- Quick acceleration and top speed.Looks- Those sharp contours and creases.Comfortable ride- Nicely tuned suspension.Sporty handling- Riding on mountain roads is fun.Brakes- Good stopping power & ABS.Liquid cooling- For long rides.Easy part availability.Relatively cheaper maintenance. Powerful headlight – 55/60w halogens lights up the roads without blinding the oncoming traffic. Nice backlit switchgear. Beautiful split tail lamps. What I don't like about this bike.Older design - Just a few sticker jobs since 2012.Basic semi-analog instrument cluster missing basic features such as Gear shift indicator and DTE. Etc.Poor paint quality- Prone to scratches.Long turning radius- Movement of handlebars feels restricted.Uncomfortable pillion seat- The pillion seat is really hard and small, no one wants to ride a pillion on this bike as it gets painful even on shorter rides.Weight- Difficult to reverse on slopes while sitting.Mild Vibrations around 4-5k RPM.Poor attitude of Bajaj service center employees. Some features in this bike are very very good and some have to be improved but overall a very nice bike
