The BS6 Hero Glamour got a subtle aesthetic makeover. The front fascia now gets an updated headlight with DRLs on either side. The front cowl gets a new plastic panel with a 3D “Hero” logo. The fuel tank extensions and the side-panels have also received mild styling. The taillight now features an “H” shape. Overall styling looks so much better than the outgoing model.
The instrument cluster retains the semi-digital layout that comprises of an analogue speedometer while the digital display shows the fuel level, odometer, trip meter, fuel economy and service due indicator. Glamour’s switchgear looks dated when compared to the modern buttons its rivals offer.
The five-speed 124.7cc BS6 engine of Hero Glamour makes 10.7bhp of power and 10.6Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle comes up with an Idle Stop-Start system that is aimed to improve the fuel efficiency.
The motorcycle is built around a diamond frame, with telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic shock absorbers at the back. The braking power comes from 130mm drum brakes on both 18-inch alloy wheels while a 240mm disc brake is available as an option. The safety net includes CBS tech that Hero MotoCorp calls Integrated Braking System.
The Glamour competes with the Honda SP 125 and the Bajaj Pulsar 125. It is ] available in multiple colour options but looks the best in the Blaze edition. This model gets a fancier green dual-tone paint scheme that makes it stand out in the segment.
Hero MotoCorp updated the Glamour range with the introduction of the XTec model. This new variant of the 125cc motorcycle series benefits from new features over the standard model. These include an LED headlight, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, turn-by-turn navigation system, a side-stand engine cut-off function, and a USB charger. The new Glamour XTec also features a bank angle sensor that turns off the engine in an event of a fall. Cosmetic upgrades include a new matte black paint with silver accents, 3D branding, and silver rim tapes.

The gear shift is very bad, the battery and clutch system is the worst i ever rides. Mileage is very good near 52+ on City. The big problem while using a clutch bike is cut off start. Not only for my bike it happens with every one v6 model. Every time I complain about it but get no permanent results, after 1.5 months of service problem start again.

Best Comfortable and Affordable Friendly Bike

Soumya Chakraborty
Hero Glamour is a commuter-focused motorcycle known for its mileage, comfort, and style. Here's Pros: * Excellent mileage (up to 60 kmpl) * Comfortable riding posture * Stylish design * Reliable engine * Affordable price tagCons: * Not very powerful (especially compared to sportier 125cc bikes) * Lacks some features (like disc brakes on all variants)Overall, the Hero Glamour is a great choice for riders who prioritize fuel efficiency, comfort, and affordability. If you're looking for a powerful bike for highway cruising, there are better options available.

Tips for other riders
1. Regular Inspections: Make it a habit to inspect your bike regularly for any signs of wear and tear, leaks, or loose parts. 2. Keep it Clean: Regularly clean your bike, including the chain, brakes, and other critical components. Dirt and grime can cause premature wear and tear. 3. Check Tire Pressure: Ensure your tires are inflated to the correct pressure levels as per the manufacturer's recommendations. Proper tire pressure improves handling and extends tire life. 4. Oil and Fluid Checks: Regularly check and change the engine oil, brake fluid, and coolant as per the manufacturer's recommended intervals. Clean fluids help maintain optimal performance and longevity. 5. Chain Maintenance:Keep your chain clean and properly lubricated. A well-maintained chain improves performance and extends the life of both the chain and sprockets. 6. Brake Inspection: Regularly inspect your brakes for wear and tear. Replace brake pads and discs as necessary to ensure safe braking performance. 7. Battery Care: Keep your battery terminals clean and check the battery's voltage regularly. Replace the battery if it's old or not holding a charge effectively. 8. Suspension Setup: Adjust your suspension settings according to your riding style and preferences. Proper suspension setup improves comfort and handling. 9. Protective Gear: Invest in quality protective gear and wear it every time you ride. This includes a helmet, gloves, jacket, pants, and boots. Safety should always be a priority.

Best mid range 125CC bike Hero superb experience
3 weeks ago
Amit Kumar Jha
My Buying experience is not too critical. I just paid 87K cash and bought this, The riding experience is very good in the 125cc engine the speed is superb with mileage, serving every 45 days from the service center. I do because it's in my daily office use, The Pros at this rate this bike is too economical with a 125Cc engine and superb mileage and the cons are only some time its online updates take too much time.
