I have purchased aprilia sr 125 on 24-august in milano motors, warangal. It's a premium scooter from the italian manufacturer aprilia company. This scooter looks damn good with it's unique design. The aprilia sr 125 has 124.49cc engine offers you great performance and produce 9.6hp of power with its 8.2 newton meters of torque, making it best city scooter. It has 14inch alloy tyres with less grip,it doesn't suit for all roads. The stiff suspension on the aprilia sr 125 help better handling. The brakes are quite impressive with its disc brake up front and drum brake at the rear. The seat is uncomfortable for the short height people. It has 6.5 liters of fuel tank capacity. At first,it just given average of 37kpml of mileage. After first servicing, the scooter starts giving better mileage and after 5000 kilometers,it is giving me mileage of 47kpml. Im pretty happy with it.Final verdict: If need a sporty scooter with premium unique design and better performance.Just go for it.

  • Why the sr 125

    Arnab

This is scooty is perfect for people who are looking to get into riding, and are looking for head turning looks and peppy performance, even though it is the costliest in the 125 cc segment it is like no other 125 cc scooter. And also for the people wondering why not buy the sr 150 by spending a extra few bucks the answer to the question is sr 125 has a lot better mileage (48kmpl in daily city use after 3 rd service),has a top speed of 110 km/hr whereas the sr 150 has a mileage of only 35 kmpl (in daily city use after 3rd service)and there isn't that big of a difference in power between the sr150 and sr125. No other 125 cc scooters offer a wheelbase of 14 inch which ensures better stability in cornering than the ntorq 125 and looks which can kill (everytime i go to the petrol pump the sr125 steals the eyeballs of people) and it handles like a dream.

  • Aprilia SR 125 - Worth buying?

    Mubeen

Best suited for everyday commute and long drive
Better road stability compared to other scooters because of wider tyres. Pricing is high but is worth paying for safer ride considering pothole roads. Scooter looks awesome, handling is smooth and comfortable. Servicing and maintenance consider the dealer workshop. Overall the scooter is worth buying

The buying experience was decent but could have been better, riding is a bit on the stiffer side but yeah that compromises when it comes to the performance, it's an absolute pocket rocket, this is the BMW of scooters when it comes to handling and performance, its literally a bike without a manual transmission, 11/10 for designing, yeah I'm serious, the best-looking two-wheeler in its class, servicing is decent too, but very few locations which is a downside but then again it is a premium/ sports scooter, can't complain
Pros: every aspect other than the absence of some cool tech the competitors have, and the exhaust note could have been better.
Cons: the same as above and people who are complaining about the mileage, go get an activity then, you people don't belong here, this is the premium space :)
Like seriously, this is a performance-oriented scooter from Aprilia, not your average grocery-getter. Aprilia's are for the enthusiasts.

It was really fun to drive this scooter. It makes riding easy.It attracts everyone when i take it to road.Handling was exceptional, thanks to its mega 14"alloy wheels and disc brake. The design was unique. This will not disappoint you.I waited for nearly 3 months to buy this scooter after booking. Main reason to buy was italian brand(piaggio),who are leaders in scooters, unique styling when compared to other brands.Specially the height factor.

    Abhijit

Buying experience: was not good as they did not provide the vehicle on correct date and I had approach one of my family friend as he is partnership with the dealership and got delivered on the very next day itself.
Riding experience: is so good provides good stability on the road and for cornering also.
Look wise: it's gives you an unique kind of look like people will notice the vehicle and not happy with analog metre for this price you will get digital meters in another vehicles. About boot space I am not happy you cant keep a full face helmet in it.
Performance wise: it's so good while riding under a speed of 70-80 km provides you a great confidence and stability. The engine is so refined. Quick and responsive acceleration and the braking system is good you will get a cbs braking system here. Abs not provided. You have stiff suspension here its good to ride on good roads but potholes road condition the ride is very bad like you can feel every potholes during the drive.
Service: servicing provided by Aprilia here in Kerala is so so pathetic better get it serviced by a mechanic who you know personally and service charge is high compared with other scooters.
    Pros:
    Good performance and unique looks
Higher stability on roads and cornering
    Quick acceleration
Bigger tyres and wheelbase and ground clearance is high
    Sports oriented performance stiff suspension
    Cons:
Expensive when compared with 125cc segments
    Small boot space
Vibrations on front and back body when vehicle is idle
    Pathetic service centers
    Servicing cost high
Front headlight don't provide adequate light during night rides
    Spare parts expensive
Potholes road drive experience is too pathetic

  • Absolute beast!

    Shylesh Madhav
