Wow!! it is quite interesting how this bike makes me speak this word from the moment i ride it & why not?Handling of this bike is the surprise of sorts. It assures you of a grip unheard in quite a lot of motorcycles, forget scooters. The brakes are brilliant. The ride is stiff by scooter standards but take it to a rough patch of road & it will ride it like a seasoned model on a ramp.If you are still comparing it to the activation, ntorq or burgman go & buy any of these. But for an enthusiastic rider this is it.

    Arun N

Review of the Aprilia SR 125
    Buying Experience
Purchasing the Aprilia SR 125 is generally a smooth and pleasant experience. Aprilia dealerships are known for their professional and friendly staff who are knowledgeable about their products. They offer comprehensive test rides and detailed explanations of the scooter’s features. Financing options are typically available, making them accessible to a range of buyers. The documentation process is straightforward, and the delivery is usually timely, with the vehicle arriving in excellent condition.
    Riding Experience
Riding the Aprilia SR 125 is an exhilarating experience, particularly for those who appreciate sporty scooters. The SR 125 offers a nimble and agile ride, perfect for urban commuting and occasional longer trips. Its lightweight frame and well-tuned suspension provide excellent handling and stability, even on rough roads. The seating position is comfortable, and the ergonomics are well-suited for both short and long rides. The throttle response is smooth, and the scooter reaches a decent top speed, making it enjoyable for daily use.
    Looks and Performance
The Aprilia SR 125 stands out with its aggressive and sporty design. The sharp lines, bold colors, and sporty decals give it a distinctive and eye-catching appearance. The build quality is robust, and the fit and finish are top-notch. Performance-wise, the SR 125 is powered by a 125cc engine that delivers adequate power for city commuting. The engine is refined, with minimal vibrations, and offers a good balance of power and fuel efficiency. The braking system is efficient, with disc brakes at the front providing excellent stopping power.
    Servicing and Maintenance
Servicing the Aprilia SR 125 is relatively hassle-free. Aprilia has a decent network of service centers, although they may not be as widespread as some competitors. The service staff are generally well-trained and handle maintenance tasks efficiently. Regular servicing costs are reasonable, though some parts might be slightly more expensive due to the premium nature of the brand. However, the overall reliability of the scooter means that major issues are rare and routine maintenance is usually sufficient to keep it running smoothly.
    Pros and Cons
    Pros:
-Sporty Design: The Aprilia SR 125 has a standout sporty look that appeals to younger riders and those looking for a stylish scooter.
-Good Performance: The 125cc engine offers a good blend of power and fuel efficiency, making it ideal for city commuting.
    - Handling and Stability: Excellent handling and stability make it a joy to ride in various conditions.
    - Build Quality: High-quality materials and a solid build ensure durability and longevity.
    Cons:
    - Service Network: While improving, Aprilia's service network is not as extensive as some other brands, which can be inconvenient in less urban areas.
    - Spare Parts Cost: Some spare parts can be relatively expensive, reflecting the premium nature of the brand.
    - Storage Space: Limited under-seat storage compared to some competitors, which can be a drawback for riders who need to carry more items.
In summary, the Aprilia SR 125 is a fantastic choice for those seeking a stylish, sporty, and reliable scooter for urban commuting. While it has a few drawbacks, its pros significantly outweigh the cons, making it a worthy contender in the 125cc scooter segment.

I like the style and comfort of the bike. The tire size is also big compared to other scooter. Here we are getting 14-inch tires compared to other scooters which mostly offer 10-inch and sometimes 12-inch tire sizes. Color combination is also adding more charisma to the scooter and as it is 125 cc, we can take it for long rides as well.

It's important that people can ride in a comfortable position so they can get on the bike at any time of day no matter what they're wearing. In city and cargo bikes, the things I want most are quality brakes, a drivetrain that isn't too fancy, and durable tires.

Best suited for everyday commute and long drive
Better road stability compared to other scooters because of wider tyres. Pricing is high but is worth paying for safer ride considering pothole roads. Scooter looks awesome, handling is smooth and comfortable. Servicing and maintenance consider the dealer workshop. Overall the scooter is worth buying

The buying experience was decent but could have been better, riding is a bit on the stiffer side but yeah that compromises when it comes to the performance, it's an absolute pocket rocket, this is the BMW of scooters when it comes to handling and performance, its literally a bike without a manual transmission, 11/10 for designing, yeah I'm serious, the best-looking two-wheeler in its class, servicing is decent too, but very few locations which is a downside but then again it is a premium/ sports scooter, can't complain
Pros: every aspect other than the absence of some cool tech the competitors have, and the exhaust note could have been better.
Cons: the same as above and people who are complaining about the mileage, go get an activity then, you people don't belong here, this is the premium space :)
Like seriously, this is a performance-oriented scooter from Aprilia, not your average grocery-getter. Aprilia's are for the enthusiasts.

A daily commute that can be used for longer rides too. The way this scooty eases at corners and traffics is absolutely great. Have been using it for almost a year now. Completed long trips too. One time it was for a continuous 150 kms with two breaks in between for the engine to cool down. Though the mileage is less the overall feel this scooty gives is something you won't get in any other ones.

  • Revving Up the Streets: Aprilia SR 125 Review – Style, Speed, and Substance"
