The Pravega is a radical looking chopper motorcycle from Indian manufacturer, Avantura Choppers.
The Pravega is a made-to-order motorcycle that can be customised to suit personal preferences. It sports styling cues of a traditional American chopper with a stretched wheelbase and generous use of chrome.
The bike is ARAI certified and consist of parts sourced from global manufacturers. It is powered by a 2000cc air-cooled, V-twin engine sourced from S&S Engines, USA. This unit is mated to a six-speed transmission and final belt drive. Braking duties are done by Beringer 6-pot calipers for the front and rear disc respectively. Suspension hardware has been sourced from Primo with the rear suspension hidden behind the engine for a hardtail look.
Meanwhile, the chopper motorcycle gets a 34-degree rake angle for the front. The Pravega is pretty long for a bike - about 2627mm in length. It weighs 347kg and gets a large 21-litre fuel tank
The Avantura Pravega rides on a 21-inch front wheel and a 18-inch rear wheel. While the front gets a 120mm tyre, the rear sports a bigger 250mm tyre; both sourced by Avon. The LED headlamp and turn indicators are sourced from German manufacturer, Kellerman. It gets a single-seat to boost its chopper characteristics all the way from Mustang Seats, USA.
The Avantura Pravega is priced at Rs 21.4 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
