I bought this second-hand 2018 model I using it since last year and I found this is a much more powerful bike it gives me 48-53 on average also I have changed the seat so it's great for long rides. Also, I have changed its leg guard originally not safe for riders. Handle and looks attract people more. Its maintenance cost is also lower than any other bike.

  • Worst experience to purchase avenger 180

My experience with avenger 180 is the worst. I bought it 4 years ago and after the 2nd day of purchasing there is a problem to start the bike.. Then I complained to the agency palampur. They told me that this is a defect from the company side and the company will replace some parts of the bike after a few days sangam auto sales palampur called me to come to their kangra showroom to sort out the problem. I went there and they replace some parts of the bike and then I came back. The next day I faced the same problem bike is not started properly and till the date 11/06/2021 I am facing the same problem much time whenever I visited the showroom they do something with petrol cap and said your problem is sorted out but still I am facing the same thing.

    Not that comfortable to ride.
Hands pain after riding it for more than 30 mins
In the beginning the average of this bike was around 25 kms but now its not even 16
The only good thing about this bike is the looks.
My advice would be buy this bike only if you are too rich and don't care about the fuel prices.

Hello everyone, I am using Bajaj avenger street 180 from last 2 and half years. It was my dream bike and I am so lucky to have it. Between those years I am so happy and satisfied with my bike's over all performance. I have driven this bike through heavy rain and shivering cold and it didn't disappointed me ever with performance. Till date I have crossed 27600+ kms distance so far and many more distances is yet to be crossed. I have only issue with those turning indicators and fuel indicators. Those things should be fixed as soon as possible. In the end i love to drive and i never get tired to drive my mighty avenger.

I'm using this bike since june 2018, at first there was some problems like self issue and fuel meter misreadings, except that the bike is performing still good. I am travelling daily 50 to 80kms daily in a busy city. Riding through cities and highways both are very comfortable except going in through stop moving traffic. I was using bajaj genuine oil till 30000kms, now i'm using motul synthetic oil which feels some more good. There is no vibration even in speed 90- 100 kmph ,60-80 kmph is my normal min - max speed limits. In cities varies from 35kmph to 50kmph. I'm getting an average mileage of 45-48 kmpl. Replaced mrf stock tyres at 23000kmsReplaced chain sprocket at 21000kmsEasy bike. And the best part i loved in this bike is riding comfort ,seating posture and relaxed rides.

In one word it's a pathetic bike. Bajaj should be feeling ashamed of launching this one specifically. It's terribly worthless. Would suggest everyone planning to buy any model of avenger, specially 180 street, should not consider buying it without even a doubt. I have purchased avenger street 180 spending more than 1 lacs and now i am repenting on my purchase decision. Feeling disgusted with this bike. After 2 months from the date of purchasing, the bike showed it's first problem of not starting. Also there is no kick start and in the middle of the road you would feel hopeless with the self ignition not starting. This problem continued and till date it has made my life horrible. Even the traffic personnel of behala now know about this problem as they had to push my bike to start it very often on the middle of the road.Next, to make things worse, bajaj service centre is just horrendous. People there never knows about this specific problem of avenger and they simply tried to avoid it by making lame excuses and providing hoax solutions.Till date, my avenger 180 street had ran about 6000 km in just 6 months and the service personnel told me that this problem can only occur if the bike is not ridden for a long time. Just imagine about their hoaxing! Then there are multiple other cons like fuel indicator never showing true fuel level. If you just fill up 3 litres petrol in its 12 litre petrol tank, the indicator shows as full. It also behave very abruptly showing petrol level as low when there is enough petrol in the tank to run for 80 km.Engine sound is terrible, after 2 months of riding it would give you a feel of riding 10 years old bike with engine being sourced from some third hand bike.Chain is then a big problem. Everytime it gets loosen and you have to tighten it. Next comes the gear. Seriously i don't know why bajaj has at all given a 5th gear in this bike since, if you ever tries to put it on 5th gear from 4th, it will inevitably give you a false gear.Vibration comes just after reaching 40 kmph. Screws are not tightened and comes off from here and there every now and then. I don't see any positive points about this bike except it's look and riding comfort being a cruise bike.Guys, please don't waste your money on buying this.

  • Good cruiser in a budget

    Vishnu

I have ridden this bike avenger 180 street 12000 kms. Had a self start problem at the very first month and showroom called for starter clutch modification. Till now there is no issue. Mileage is about 45-48kmpl in city. Rider comfort is very good.Seating position is very relaxed.Big bum pillion will feel a little uncomfortable. In some reviews some of them written power is very low. It has only 15.3 bhp i was knowing and expected the same .The pulsar 180 engine was 17bhp this engine is the same but detuned for cruiser style riding performance.
