Bajaj Discover 150S Mileage

Riding the bike from 2015 to till date Clocked 15k plus km. Till date it has no issues ..No parts change except single clutch wire change 150rsBike is of very less maintenance Mileage 42-44kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic and 49-50in highway at constant speed of 70-80{i use only motul 7100 20w50 engine oil and draining period is 2000-2500km} Bike goes top speed of 115kmph but cruising speed of all day long is 70-75kmph. Overall nice bike i will rate it 4star out of 5 I also own a pulsar 135ls which performs similar but has 10percent less vibrations and mileage is 45kmpl more. But looks of 150f discover is eye catching And has very less vibration on using motul 7100 20w50Like if you find helpful.

I wish to call this as a 'no problem' bike. It is in its best look as good as new. It has a smooth transition in terms of speed. Center shock absorbers similar to premium bikes. Excellent mileage of 53 kmpl compared to any other 150 cc bike. Pick up may not be at par with other power bikes. All servicing done at bajaj service centre in velachery. I am in love with the bike but moving out of tn jurisdiction therefore have to sell this bike. But ultimately a good buy for someone who wants all-in-one experience.

1. Buying experience :

The bajaj discover 150s is a budget bike, the experience of owing such a good bike is excellent. The bike price is around 70k - 75k. And owing such a good bike worth it.

2. Riding experience :

I used it for everything like daily commuting , touring and sometimes for fun riding. Seating position is very good and the foot pegs is comfortably positioned. I had take it to some around 250-300 km without any break, seating is extremely comfortable

3. Looks and performance :

Bike is having very catchy looks specially in ebony black colour. Its lifted fuel tank gives it a sporty looks. Bike can easily catch the speed up-to 80km/hr. And if all maintenance is on time it can take you up-to 100/hr also. Mileage is also around 50km/ltr.

4. Servicing and maintenance :

Servicing is also very good that not cost much, if you take it to regular servicing on time it would cost you around rs. 1500 hardly. Bajaj is having very good no. Of service center and the parts of this bike is pretty decent.

Pros.

1. Anybody can buy, it is a budget bike and very good performance in its segment.

2. Performance is very good for daily commuting, touring & for fun riding, it can

easily go for 80km/hr.

3. Seat of this bike is very good, very comfortable and can seat upto 3 person easily.

4. Head lights of this bike is very good, i think the best point in this bike specially for

night riders.

5. Body of this bike is very good.

Cons.

1. Heating problem after few kms engine releases so much of heat.

2. It doesn't have kill switch.

3. It doesn't have digital meter

If anybody wants to buy a bike for daily commuting and for fun, this bike worth its price.

The bike is very reliable you can take it to anywhere.
