At first glance, the Discover 125ST seems to be just another bike among the crowd of commuter bikes. But it isn’t. The Discover 125ST, or Sports Tourer as Bajaj calls it, is the company's attempt at introducing a bit of fun to the boring commuter segment. The Discover 125ST is based on an enhanced chassis of the Discover 125 with adjustments to accommodate the segment-first monoshock. Styling has also been refreshed and the bike looks more imposing and muscular, though the 125ST is actually smaller in dimensions than the Discover 125. The Discover 125ST also comes with alloy wheels and disc brake at the front as standard.
The engine is also the same single cylinder air-cooled 125cc unit, but has been altered to accommodate four valves, much like the Pulsar 135LS. Mated to a five-speed gearbox, this engine returns a marginally better performance with 13bhp and 10.8Nm of torque. The Discover 125ST has a new seat which is more comfortable and sits lower than the regular Discover. The bike is very nimble and works well while tackling city traffic. The improved handling makes the bike a breeze to use in an urban environment.
The Discover 125ST is available in four colour schemes- Midnight Black and Red, Midnight Black and Blue, Flame Red and Brilliant Blue. The bike is priced at Rs 57,073 (ex-showroom Delhi) and rivals other commuter bikes like Honda CB Shine, Hero Glamour, Suzuki SlingShot Plus, TVS Phoenix and Yamaha SS 125.
The ARAI mileage of Bajaj Discover 125 ST is 58 kmpl. The average of the Discover 125 ST is 56 kmpl, as per the owners of the bike.

Most powerful 125cc bike at cheap price

That motorcycle is excellent in its era for performance, looks, and mileage. but the handling is quite poor while cornering at High speed, the main reason is the narrow handlebar and straight triangle seating position but some minor modifications will fix those issues as well, otherwise overall package is powerbomb.

Review of Bajaj Discover 125ST

The buying experience of this bike was very nice but the riding experience/pleasure is not nice after 3gear it's like you don't have to change the gears its very pickup is very nice and so fascinating and satisfying It looks very nice it looks like a monster who can defeat anyone in this segment.servicing and maintaining this bike is very easy just you have to do service timely and not to harsh riding all the time because it harms the engine.Pros of this bike it has the fastest pickup in 125cc segment, the most comfortable single-seat The cons of this bike is it is very heavy as compared to other bike and it gives low mileage than other bikes.

Riding & buying experience looks so good mileage performance but one thing doesn't give the bike for showroom services. Single shakeup chased a long drive for a good feel. But quickly chain bracket every time. But Chain bracket complaint over review. Please I have this bike am buying. Thanks to bajaj

Even the best of them come with some drawbacks

Bought this bike in 2012 and tell you what, I have never experienced any set back with this one. Till date, I have only replaced tail light bulb and rear tyre. It has been 8 years now and I haven't change the front tyre but that does not mean that it has not been worn out. Besides that there is no other major repair or replacement. However, the only thing this bike could have done better on was seat and comfort. It gets tiresome riding it for long distance especially if you are heavy built like me.
