Bajaj Pulsar N160 Super Bike Review
1. Buying Experience:
The process was smooth, with the showroom staff being both knowledgeable and courteous. The paperwork was done efficiently, and the finance options available were attractive. The waiting period was reasonable, and the bike was delivered as promised, in pristine condition.
2. Riding Experience:
The Pulsar N160 offers a balanced blend of power and comfort. The engine responds eagerly to throttle inputs, and the bike feels agile in city traffic. On highways, it maintains speed effortlessly. The suspension setup is apt for Indian roads, soaking up bumps while providing stability.
3. Details about looks, performance, etc.:
Looks: The N160 maintains the aggressive stance characteristic of the Pulsar series. Sharp lines, a sculpted fuel tank, and a sporty tail section make it a head-turner.
Performance: Powered by a 160cc engine, it offers brisk acceleration and a respectable top speed. The gear shifts are smooth, and the exhaust note is pleasing.
Features: It comes with a digital instrument cluster, LED lights, and a dual-disc brake setup for added safety.
4. Servicing and Maintenance:
Service intervals are standard, with the initial services being crucial for the bike's longevity. Parts are reasonably priced and readily available. The overall maintenance cost is on the lower side, making it pocket-friendly in the long run.
5. Pros and Cons:
Pros:
Stylish design and aggressive stance.
Efficient performance for city and highway rides.
Affordable maintenance.
Cons:
Slight vibrations at higher RPMs.
Limited color options.
Stock tires could have been better.

Tips for Bajaj Pulsar N160

Maintenance Tips for Bajaj Pulsar N160: Regular Oil Change: Change the engine oil every 3,000 km or as recommended by the manufacturer. Using the correct grade and quality of oil is crucial. Air Filter Cleaning: Ensure the air filter is cleaned and replaced as per the recommended intervals. A clogged filter can hamper performance and fuel efficiency. Tires: Use tubeless tires for better puncture resistance and safety. Regularly check tire pressure. Maintaining the right pressure ensures better grip, safety, and fuel efficiency. Inspect tires for wear and tear. Replace if tread depth is below the recommended limit. Brakes: Check brake pads for wear. Replace if they're too thin. Ensure brake fluid is at the correct level and replace it as recommended by the manufacturer. Battery: Check the battery terminals for corrosion. Clean and apply petroleum jelly to prevent corrosion. Ensure the battery is fully charged, especially if you don't ride the bike daily. Drive Chain Maintenance: Regularly clean and lubricate the drive chain. Check for correct tension and adjust as necessary. Regular Service: Stick to the recommended service intervals. Timely servicing ensures the bike's longevity and performance. Lights and Indicators: Regularly check all lights and indicators. Replace any blown bulbs immediately. Coolant Level: If your model is liquid-cooled, ensure the coolant is at the correct level and replace as per the manufacturer's recommendation. Use Genuine Parts: Always use genuine Bajaj parts for replacements. This ensures compatibility, performance, and longevity. Storage: If you're not using the bike for extended periods, store it in a dry place and cover it to protect from dust and moisture. Ride Regularly: Bikes are meant to be ridden. Regular rides, even short ones, can prevent issues related to prolonged idleness like a drained battery or seized engine parts.

On the feature front, Bajaj has equipped the Pulsar N160 base model with a USB charging port and a semi-digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. Meanwhile, the USD front fork trim uses a fully digital console with smartphone connectivity for call and SMS alerts, battery levels, and turn-by-turn navigation. Further, it also gets three different ABS settings: Road, Rain, and Off-road. So happy.

In short, after 1-2 months my overall views are :
Price: A little bit overpriced than rivals (Apache)
    Performance: Best in the Segment
    Mileage: 50+ (village+highway) (after 1st Service)
    * Depends on Riding style
    Looks: Arguably the best
    Features: Top Notch
    Fit & Finish: Average
Service Cost: very low cost for a 160cc bike
Led Headlamp: Best in the Segment, way better than MT15 / R15

Best in class in terms of looks, mileage and braking. Hands own one of the best braking bikes. Projector headlamps are awesome. Enough power for beginners. Would have been great if there was a 6th gear. Definitely an eye-turner with that bassy and grunting underbelly exhaust note. Feels a little underpowered at highways. But as I told you earlier, just enough power for a beginner.

I bought this bike in 2023, starting I was good, but after service, I started to experience self-start issues, even after the 3 and 4th service it was not rectified. Also, the engine turns off while running especially in traffic conditions, once it is turned off it will not be on for some time, all these issues were addressed to the service center at each service. Now they telling me that self start motor not working. This bike does not have a kicker and they provide the self-start alone which will not work after 1 year. Think about the quality of this manufacture. Please don't buy this vehicle. I checked with others who ride this vehicle, and they also getting the same issues.

The NS 160 is a well-balanced offering that combines style, performance, and efficiency. It features a sleek design that appeals to younger riders. I bought my Bajaj Pulsar NS160 4 years ago. Still, it's performing like a new engine And very low maintenance cost.

The best balance of mileage and performance.
Looks beautiful and minimalistic. Smooth gear shifting. Zero noise. Zero vibrations. Excuse sound is impressive. When I ride this bike at night its stock headlamps do the job for me. Seat and seating posture are both comfortable. I can ride for more than 300km without any problem.

I am 5ft 7inch and it's a very comfortable bike and very good seating posture. Engine produce enough power. Excellent braking system. It gives 53 km/l mileage at an average speed of 60km/h. The exhaust sound is too awesome. Good suspension. Only chain noise comes during riding if it is not fitted properly. Low maintenance cost.

And the bike off what handling what an engine, like I drove many bikes in this segment but riding N160 has a separate happiness with giggles in your stomach. Really an amazing bike of all time.

The bajaj pulser n160 2024 model is good .It is extremely smooth. The clutch is very smooth. The looks are very nice. I have ridden 4000 km. The mileage is between 40 to 45 km/lit. The Bluetooth connectivity is awesome. The ABS brakes are awesome. The tank capacity of 14 liters is enough to go for long rides.

Long-time drive performance is very good
    Bike design is very good
The bike looks very nice like a racer bike

So happy.

    Gourab Karmakar

In short, after 1-2 months my overall views are :
Price: A little bit overpriced than rivals (Apache)
    Performance: Best in the Segment
    Mileage: 50+ (village+highway) (after 1st Service)
    * Depends on Riding style

    Sathick

I bought this bike in 2023, starting I was good, but after service, I started to experience self-start issues, even after the 3 and 4th service it was not rectified. Also, the engine turns off while running especially in traffic conditions, once it is turned off it will not be on for some time, all these issues were addressed to the service center at each service. Now they telling me that self start motor not working. This bike does not have a kicker and they provide the self-start alone which will not work after 1 year. Think about the quality of this manufacture. Please don't buy this vehicle. I checked with others who ride this vehicle, and they also getting the same issues.
