Bajaj Pulsar N160 Super Bike Review
1. Buying Experience:
The process was smooth, with the showroom staff being both knowledgeable and courteous. The paperwork was done efficiently, and the finance options available were attractive. The waiting period was reasonable, and the bike was delivered as promised, in pristine condition.
2. Riding Experience:
The Pulsar N160 offers a balanced blend of power and comfort. The engine responds eagerly to throttle inputs, and the bike feels agile in city traffic. On highways, it maintains speed effortlessly. The suspension setup is apt for Indian roads, soaking up bumps while providing stability.
3. Details about looks, performance, etc.:
Looks: The N160 maintains the aggressive stance characteristic of the Pulsar series. Sharp lines, a sculpted fuel tank, and a sporty tail section make it a head-turner.
Performance: Powered by a 160cc engine, it offers brisk acceleration and a respectable top speed. The gear shifts are smooth, and the exhaust note is pleasing.
Features: It comes with a digital instrument cluster, LED lights, and a dual-disc brake setup for added safety.
4. Servicing and Maintenance:
Service intervals are standard, with the initial services being crucial for the bike's longevity. Parts are reasonably priced and readily available. The overall maintenance cost is on the lower side, making it pocket-friendly in the long run.
5. Pros and Cons:
Pros:
Stylish design and aggressive stance.
Efficient performance for city and highway rides.
Affordable maintenance.
Cons:
Slight vibrations at higher RPMs.
Limited color options.
Stock tires could have been better.

Tips for Bajaj Pulsar N160

Maintenance Tips for Bajaj Pulsar N160: Regular Oil Change: Change the engine oil every 3,000 km or as recommended by the manufacturer. Using the correct grade and quality of oil is crucial. Air Filter Cleaning: Ensure the air filter is cleaned and replaced as per the recommended intervals. A clogged filter can hamper performance and fuel efficiency. Tires: Use tubeless tires for better puncture resistance and safety. Regularly check tire pressure. Maintaining the right pressure ensures better grip, safety, and fuel efficiency. Inspect tires for wear and tear. Replace if tread depth is below the recommended limit. Brakes: Check brake pads for wear. Replace if they're too thin. Ensure brake fluid is at the correct level and replace it as recommended by the manufacturer. Battery: Check the battery terminals for corrosion. Clean and apply petroleum jelly to prevent corrosion. Ensure the battery is fully charged, especially if you don't ride the bike daily. Drive Chain Maintenance: Regularly clean and lubricate the drive chain. Check for correct tension and adjust as necessary. Regular Service: Stick to the recommended service intervals. Timely servicing ensures the bike's longevity and performance. Lights and Indicators: Regularly check all lights and indicators. Replace any blown bulbs immediately. Coolant Level: If your model is liquid-cooled, ensure the coolant is at the correct level and replace as per the manufacturer's recommendation. Use Genuine Parts: Always use genuine Bajaj parts for replacements. This ensures compatibility, performance, and longevity. Storage: If you're not using the bike for extended periods, store it in a dry place and cover it to protect from dust and moisture. Ride Regularly: Bikes are meant to be ridden. Regular rides, even short ones, can prevent issues related to prolonged idleness like a drained battery or seized engine parts.

    Mithilesh

This bike's self-starter was not good in 1 year this will fail I am not getting Bajaj bikes after that. I am disappointed that the service centers they not solve my bike problem. The N250 bike battery was bigger same Chasis N160 bike did not have a big battery this was very disgusting I am not getting any new Bajaj bikes after seeing this problem.

    Aditya Jadhav

Look-wise and performance wise the bike is very decent but parts quality is very bad as compared to other bikes of segment. If you want to buy a bike in the 160cc segment just go for Hornet or Extreme 160. Riding this bike for around 2000 kms now and it already started making noice i dont know from where the noice is coming so visited the service center and they just started giving non sense excuses.

The Bajaj Pulsar N160 is the Pune-based manufacturer's offering in the highly competitive 160cc streetfighter segment. The sporty looks along with the refined motor make it apt for everyday riding in the city and also for some short highway runs on the weekend. Great handling - changes direction quickly, feels stable when leaned too.

    Partha

The bike has a nice weight balance, but stiff ride quality, average mileage, a nice look, and terrific projector light. Doesn't come with much place to add accessories. Gets easily scratched (use ppf ). The back seat is smaller. Feels like a beast. 1st service cost up to 800rs. ABS is wonderful. Feature loaded bike

  • Worst self starter motor

    Shiben Bose

Despite the 5-year warranty for the self-starter motor PULSAR N160 will cause you to be harassed due to not starting for a whole day. Even the OSL BAJAJ service center in Thakurpukur will help you to fix the problem.
Suddenly you will find in the morning start is not working & your call is being just avoided from the service centre in Thakurpukur. Now the pulsar N160 will become a just showpiece in your house.

  • I think this is very nice bike in performance

    Mohd Akbar Chuhan

Very nice maintained bike with abs breaks easy to control and Mileage is good on the base of its engine according to the price it is costly but the base of performance is so good with a comparison bike companies it's too good in power and style. Bajaj is better at manufacturing bike engines and styles than other companies.
In my companion, I give five-star to Bajaj company

  • Problem of Pulsar N160 must watch

  • Worst build quality and after-sale service ever

  • Good bike
