The Benelli Leoncino 250 draws design inspiration from its bigger sibling, the Leoncino 500 that is also available in India. The round, full-LED headlamp, tear-drop shaped fuel-tank, a single-piece seat and a short tail section give the Leoncino a distinctive look. It also gets a tyre-hugger mounted number plate holder that completes its appeal.
The bike comes powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, DOHC engine that churns out 26.8bhp at 10,500rpm and 21Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. The motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive. Braking hardware on the Leoncino 250 consists of a 280mm petal disc at the front along with a 240mm petal disc for the rear. Meanwhile, the bike rides on 17-inch wheels at both ends suspended by 41mm inverted forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. In terms of features, the Leoncino 250 gets a dual-channel ABS and a small LCD instrument cluster. Benelli is offering the Leoncino 250 in three colour options; Italian Red, Pearl Brown, and Titanium Grey.
The Leoncino 250 competes against the Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Royal Enfield Classic 500 in the country.

No more a junk ...Frequently breaks out because of silly reasons..Sometimes its fuse burnout, sometimes faulty idling, service cost unnecessarily high...Performance no more than a 12bhp engine...Exhaust note not much impressive...Suspension are stony hard for a cafe racer/scrambler, you have to literally stand on rear brake for it to be applied.

The first thing that everyone notice about the benelli leoncino is its looks. The bike has a unique look and it has kept its name of the lion cub in terms of performance and looks. It is finished in good quality materials and has a sturdy build too. The front suspension is eye catching and performs well in terms of stability. The seats are spacious and gives comfort even in long rides. The bike is easy to handle because of its low height design and wider handle bar.In terms of performance the benelli leoncino has a 250cc engine witch gives a linear power delivery. The thing i liked is its ability to push power at higher bands. That's the real thing about this bike, it is silent and low rpms and a beast at higher rpms . The main con i found in this is that it doesn't give that much performance it gives at higher rpms at lower rpms .
