Benelli TNT 300 [2020] Summary

The Benelli TNT 300 has been finally launched in the Indian market, along with its other motorcycles. The TNT 300 is the most affordable Benelli motorcycle one can buy in India.

The TNT 300 gets an aggressive styling and with the steel trestle frame is a piece of Italian artwork. The bike is known for its refined sports suspension, exceptional clutch control and comfortable ergonomic layout. It is slim, light and nimble making it easy to handle the bike for both, a novice rider or an experienced one. The motorcycle gets 17-inch aluminium alloy rims that feature a 120/70 sized tyre in the front and a 160/60 sized tyre at the rear. Interestingly, the Italian manufacturer is offering two variants of these bike. One is available with MRF tyres, whereas the second one is available with Perelli tyres.

The braking power comes from the 260mm twin wave disc at the front and a 240mm single disc at the back. The suspension set-up includes an inverted 41mm hydraulic damping shock absorber at the front fork, while the rear swing-arm gets an adjustable rear shock absorber offering spring preload and rebound adjustment.

The TNT 300 is powered by a 300cc four valve DOHC inline two cylinder engine that produces 37bhp of power and 27Nm of torque. This mill features an electronic Delphi fuel injection system and a timing system with double overhead camshafts. The motor comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

In the international market, this motorcycle is only available in orange. However, the Indian market gets four colour options - Rosso (red), Verde (green), Bianco (white) and Nero (black). The TNT 300 is sold in India via completely-knocked-down (CKD) route and competes with the Kawasaki Z250.

Benelli TNT 300 [2020] Review

  • Good Things

    • One of the best sounding 300 bikes
    • Offers good riding comfort
    • Good fuel tank capacity
  • Could be Better

    • The performance doesn't match the other 300cc bikes
    • Boring looking instrument cluster

BikeWale's Take

The Benelli TNT 300 is a great sound motorcycle. It offers decent performance and comfort. However, it lacks the finesse and desirability.

The engine is very good. For city and highways the performance is good. For the price, it is a very good option. No troubles yet. Obviously, mt 03 or ktm 390 are faster, but riding experience is good for me. Also, it sounds really good. It Isn't a common bike in the country, that's why in the street a lot of people look a it.

Cloud tnt 300. My friend gave it me for my wedding anniversary. The best bike i rode. Usually do not write reviews but this bike is special. I rode in all kinds of roads. Road grip is excellent. Pick up is one of a kind. It gives decent mileage. Looks are fabulous. Most of my friends have imported bikes but they still envy my bike. Servicing has to be improved. Now i live in hyderabad. Service is not up to the mark. I can not say this is the best bike. More than value for money. I am thoroughly enjoying the bike.

Its a superb bike it has cool aggressive look and the way the rear shock absorber is placed adds to it it gives a fantastic performance it gives a mileage of 28 some people say that there is a problem with the horn but the actual problem is with the switch which just needs a cleanup and there is a slight focus problem with the head lights which can be easily solved by tuning and the bike does not have an exterior finish worth its price in case of maintenance the cost of the parts is affordable but the labor charge is very high the number of service centers within each state is very small the labor charge for the first service is 2800.

Hi, rev engine, bike really roars post 6000 rpm. using if for daily commute and short rides. completed 6.5km in 3 months. servicing cost is hmmmm heavy like bike.
      stock sounds really good.
commuting with pillion in peak traffic hours is difficult as bike is on heavier side. Heat's up in signals and bumper to bumper traffic but cooling is really efficient once bike is in motion.

      Joydeep Sengupta

3rd class bike in one word ..Poor build quality and reliability there are lots of problems with this bike right from ignition coil failure sensor failure shock absorber leaking and the things go on.The headlight socket will melt in the high heat ..This is not only faced by me but by 90% of benelli owners ..I spent 80000 rupees to keep it running in one year it's a pure Chinese product ...The worst decision in my life.

This bike cost Above 3 Lakh and it's not give u ABS.
In this Price Range u can buy KTM RC 390 pr Duke 390 As well.
I don't know why Indian government not allow ABS to all 150 CC or above 150 CC bikes
Believe me guys don't buy any powerful bike which don't have any Safety Facility.
Indian roads are not safe to drive very fast so keep be safe :)

      service and maintenance
Now there is a new issue with Benelli ownership. so the availability of spare are very bad.
Things that i changed in my vehicle are chain sprocket, 3 rear break pads, front alloy wheel , rear alloy, temperature sensor, 2 horns, oil seal.
THE ONLY THING in Benelli is the exhaust.

Buying Benelli is very easy but the maintenance and service costs are very high. each and every spare parts are really very high. I'm not happy with my bike.

      Benelli a super sounding machine

      Amit Padam

Hello guys let brief a bit about this bike.

      Pros:

      - it's is a true sports tourer with comfortable riding for long journeys. Good for people looking for a stable and mature riding

      - good on fuel highway- 35 ,city - 25

      - customisable suspension

      - sounds like an inline four cylinder bike

      - muscular and tyre grips are also good

      - refined gt engine

      - build quality is superb

      Cons :

      - a bit expensive on pocket as the service intervals are every 4000 or four months

      - brakes are not very responsive could have been better

      - a bit on the heavier side and lacks power needs to rev on higher rpms

      - service stations only in major cities

Conclusion: it's a good buy if you can afford it and looking for casual rides. People looking for daily use are not suggested to buy it as it's heavy and not easy on the move in traffic. The best part is the sound of the bike and the refinement level are upto the mark.

Change oil at 5000 k or 6 months company will suggest to go for service every 4000 k but I can go for it after 5000K
