Please don't buy this bike. if you buy this bike you will cry always. coolant leakage is big problem. there is no solution for leakage. bike engine stops on highway while riding. bike engine heats very much. service quality is so poor. look and performance is good. maintenance is too high service labour charges are around 3000 and service cost is around 8000 in normal service. and rear brake pad cost is 4200. my experience is worst with this bike. am not happy with this bike... and if you will buy this bike you will cry whenever you ride this bike

    1.Buying experience was good

2.Until first servicing the riding experience was good, but after the 1st servicing the bikes performance had been declining. At speeds like 80-90 km/h if you hold the clutch the engine's ignition goes off and you have to start the bike.

3.Looks wise it is better than ktm duke or fz 250.Performance is poor.

4.The bikes servicing was not good at all and is very costly. There were a lot of problems with the bike i have purchased.First the coolant leaked for which they have done some repairs and charged me around 1500.Then again within 1 month there was another problem with starter coil and some other things due to which the bike didn't eve start and the repair had again costed me another 4500 rupees. And again i am having issues with bike not starting at all.All these problems just happened within a span of 5 months.I had to tow the vehicle from where i was staying for 3 times in just 5 months which is raising question on the quality of the product.

5.Pros : good looks and nice riding experience.Very good for long rides

cons : once the bike gets any repair it will be having issues frequently

Finally my advice is do not buy this bike............

Service and maintenance cost to benelli tnt 25 is bad and the cost for maintenance is too high.

Be careful before buying this bike. As on the same price you will have the best of best bikes available in India.

Read through the review not only of mine but also of the other web sites. Really unhappy with the service and maintenance

  • Maintenance costs in a glance!

    Rohan

I'd bought this bike in 2016 and had already seen the worst of it in the first year... Had a bit of an accident and tank damaged... Cost me 50,000 rupees... Right side mirror sprocket cracked and they replaced it now in 2019 after 2 years of requesting 3,000 rupees... Coolant leak is a big issue and this happened after a month of servicing in 2019, sounds like a joke, and it cost me around 15,000 rupees... Rear brake pad costs 4,200 rupees... Another issue arisen was oil leakage from front suspension spokes and that wasn't repaired until after 3 times visit, really poor servicing... Rear tyre default one is a joke, it'll run upto 6k to 7k kms with a lot of repairs, so changed it to mrf, cost me 8,000 rupees... As you can see these costs are excluding service costs... Service costs will be 3,000 to 5,000 rupees per service.. Probably 10,000 rupees per year..... Only thing good about this bike is ride quality, and i don't think you need to waste your money just for this... So would never recommend buying a benelli bike... Too many maintenance costs and parts not available... Oh yes another thing is the road assistance, it's the worst, they're never in time and will come in 3 hrs after you call them, and first cap goes to call centre then to the driver.. Stupid service all in all.

Horrible experience from day one. When i bought my tnt25, andheri dealer did not pay for insurance and i had to pay. Last 2 years, bike has given plenty of problems like overheating, coolant leak, break pads damaged within a year, vehicle stopping without any indication. Being a benelli, i did not expect so many breakdowns in 2 years even after regular servicing. Already spent heavily maintaining the bike. The worst is that my road side assistance had expired after 2 yrs and my vehicle stopped the very next day after expiry in the middle of the road. When i called them, they are not ready to help. When i renewed rsa , they told me that renewal will take 15 days and i have to wait for 15 days before they will help me. Not seen such a horrible service. My sincere advise. Do not go for benelli.

High maintenance but doesn't worth it even duke 200 is giving a better ride experience!

Very high maintenance and doesn't worth it.

Seating is a bit harsh can't be ridden for long but for smaller rides in town will give a lots of pleasure to you!

If you a a fan of tnt 25 then that would be a better choice but that bike doesn't give a value for money product.

  • Ownership review after riding 12000kms

    Soumalya Banerjee

After riding 12000 kms i am writing this review. Let us look at the cons first.

    Cons:

    - high service cost. Spare parts are also costlier than others in this segment.

    - abs would have been better.

    - clutch is little hard, but it will be fine if you get used to it.

    Pros:

    - good power delivery.

    - riding ergonomics are awesome. Very comfortable for long rides. Even very comfortable for pillion also.

    - brakes are good enough.

    - looks amazing. Eye-catcher for sure.

    - feels big when riding.

    - premium build quality.

    - the exhaust note is best in class.

    - svc guys are helpful and well educated.

Overall, if service costs don't bother you, this is the best motorcycle in the segment overall. Duke 250 is definitely quicker in terms of acceleration, but overall this is a better package.

The unique experience of owning a benelli bike is worth every penny.

The bike is unique in its own way.

Ktm and other 250 bikes are definitely quicker in acceleration compared to this one.

That dosen't mean it is slow in any way.

But then this bike offers the best rider ergonomics and the unique bold Italian looks,

No one can take away that from it.

Its comfortable seating works both for short distance city(traffic) and long distance commutes.

Neither have i faced excessive heat emissions from the engine unlike the other models in this category.

& benelli now how to create the perfect exhaust note, i love the sound of it on higher rpms.

The gear box is little harder compared to others, also i wish there was abs in it.

Addition of slipper clutch would also be great.

The horn is loud but stops working at times.
