The C12 is BGauss’ latest offering in its electric scooter line-up. It sits beside the existing D15 and B8 models and gets a fairly simple structure oriented towards city usage. BGauss has given the C12 a round headlight with apron-mounted turn indicators. The overall design is quite simple and focused on functionality and the scooter gets a wide floorboard, a flat single-piece seat and a grab-rail for added convenience.
BGauss has powered the C12 with a 3.2kWh battery having a claimed range of 135km (ARAI). Meanwhile, its feature front comprises a fully digital LCD with readouts, including the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, and distance to empty and two ride modes (Eco and Sport). There’s also a side-stand sensor, safety start switch, and CBS for added protection.
The C12 comes with storage at the front apron and a 23-litre under seat capacity, along with a USB charging port. It rides on telescopic front forks, a four-step adjustable rear shock and 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels. The C12 uses drum brakes at both ends.
BGauss offers the C12 in as many as six colours such as BGauss Matte Blue, Foliage Green, Yellow Black, Red Black, Shiny Silver, and Pearl White.

The dealer's knowledge about the product was disappointing, with several inaccuracies in the information provided. For instance, the range per charge was stated to be 55-60km, but in reality, it only covers 40-45km. The charging time was also misrepresented - it was said to be 2 hours, but it takes a full 4 hours. Furthermore, the electricity consumption was not correctly communicated. We were told it would consume a maximum of 3 units of electricity, but the 2 KW charger consumes 8 KW if used for 4 hours. This discrepancy in electricity consumption information was misleading. The most significant issue, however, is the difficulty in removing and replacing the battery - a major design flaw in the bike. Having owned the bike for almost two months, I am considering selling it and purchasing a bike from a more reliable brand.

The quality of the tyres is subpar. Considering the features and quality of the bike, it is significantly overpriced
