This bike is quite expensive but it's worth it and is very stable. I love the riding experience of this bike. I have traveled around 4500-5000kms and I don't get any problems while riding this bike. This bike has a great look is black and has quite good mileage and performance. The servicing and maintenance of this bike is quite expensive but good things have high worth when it comes to buying the bike or its maintenance but in my personal experience it is good. Pros are many of this bike its mileage, it's fuel capacity, it's riding I love this bike while talking about cons the service centers are not available easily for this beast and everything is ok. This is my personal experience with this bike.

Tips for BMW G 310 GS

First of all, you will think about the high price of this bike but personally, it will be worth it as this bike itself is made for long adventures and it has quite good mileage, and a better look then any other bikes and is best for riding as this bike is quite comfortable.

This is where the BS6 BMW G 310 GS feels like its leaps and bounds ahead of the BS4 model. Sure, the previous-gen baby GS felt premium too but it lacked basic features which put customers off. The BS6 model has a lot going for it. The old halogen setup has been replaced by a full-LED headlight that ups the style quotient and is practical. The beam's illumination, far-reaching throw and blanket-like spread can light up pitch-dark roads with ease. Despite gaining some weight during the BS6 transition, the baby GS feels quite light on its feet. It packs the same hardware as before which means you get a long-travel Kayaba fork, a mono-shock, and a trellis frame that ties everything together. That said, BMW has changed the tune of the suspension for a plush ride. It’s still on the softer side but doesn’t bottom out anymore unless you push it to its limits off the beaten path.
On-road, the configuration smoothes out any bumps or imperfections with ease. You could almost forget the pothole-ridden roads in India and cruise over them at a steady pace without the ride ever feeling jarring. On top of that, the longer 26.7-degree rake and 19-inch front wheel make the bike more stable at higher speeds, but in the city, the front feels a tad slow to react to inputs. The wider tyres add to the front-end weight and by extension, increase steering effort.
The dual-purpose Metzeler Tourance tyres offer fantastic grip on the road and despite the taller stance of the bike, inspire confidence while turning into corners at high speeds. These are equally good on loose surfaces and egg you to push harder. However, these still aren’t proper off-road knobby tyres so you will find their off-road limit sooner rather than later.
Thanks to the longer travel suspension and higher ground clearance, you have enough room to clear rough roads, small rocks or bumps. The overall setup, despite the alloy wheels, is good enough for light off-roading. The tall and wide handlebars along with the chunky tank allow you to grip the bike better. You can quickly shift your weight forwards and backwards as needed to maintain traction on hills and obstacles, and side to side to level the bike.
Our only quibble is the absence of switchable ABS, which was present on the BS4 model. Having the ability to lock the rear would offer better control over the vehicle on loose surfaces. So, why BMW felt the need to remove the system altogether is a mystery to us.

  • Bmw g 310 gs a comfortable ride like no other

    Murari

As an owner of the bmw g 310 gs, i can confidently say that this motorcycle stands out in the realm of comfort, especially when compared to its competitors like the ktm 390 duke. The g 310 gs has been designed with a focus on rider comfort, and it shows in its suspension, seat, and seating position.
Starting with the suspension, the g 310 gs is equipped with a 41mm upside-down fork at the front and a directly hinged monoshock at the rear, both of which are adjustable. This setup provides a plush ride that absorbs bumps and potholes with ease, making it ideal for long rides and rough terrains. The suspension is undoubtedly one of the best in its class, offering a balance between comfort and performance that is hard to find in other motorcycles in this category.
The seat of the g 310 gs is another highlight. It is well-padded and wide, providing ample support for the rider. The seat height is also adjustable, ranging from 32.9 inches to 33.5 inches, allowing riders of different heights to find their perfect fit. Compared to the ktm 390 duke, which has a firm seat, the g 310 gs offers a more comfortable seating experience, especially on long journeys.
The seating position on the g 310 gs is upright and relaxed, which reduces strain on the rider's back and arms. The handlebars are positioned just right, so you don't have to stretch to reach them. This is a stark contrast to the aggressive, sporty seating position of the ktm 390 duke.
The g 310 gs's seating position is more conducive to long rides and touring, making it a more comfortable choice for riders who spend a lot of time on their bikes.
In conclusion, the bmw g 310 gs is a motorcycle that prioritizes rider comfort without compromising on performance. Its top-notch suspension, comfortable seat, and relaxed seating position set it apart from competitors like the ktm 390 duke. If comfort is a priority for you, the g 310 gs is a choice worth considering.

  • Undisputed price

    Ashutosh Kumar

If you are interested in this bike then you probably do not need anyone's review because I never read any review before buying it. Nonetheless, if you are still reading then you are a bike enthusiast, indeed.
Let's start a story about a prince(from the house of BMW). This undisputed price clocks some decent figures like 34bhp. Unlike the most hyped Himalayan, this can be your perfect commuter because of the:-
    A. Slip & assist clutch
    B. Just 175 kg
    C. Better load distribution
    D. Efficient heat dissipation
    E. Ride-by-wire technology
    G. Most comfortable riding position
    H. Better stock rubber
    I. Huge ground clearance
Enough of rosy talks, ya ya, I agree it's not the perfect baby.
Worth its price both in terms of performance and looks.
Service cost (a bit high) is debatable as its service duration is also long.
Last, but not the least, nothing on this bike looks cheap or feels cheap.

  • Best adventure bike in budget

    Guna

BMW's ownership experience is excellent, they know how to please a customer. Motorcycles are very capable and efficient in terms of riding comfort plush and forgiving. I bought this motorcycle and rode for 24000 km, I am happy with the motorcycle, great thing about this motorcycle is its service interval which is 10000 km or 1 year. Gives a peace of mind while touring to different parts of the country.

    1) The Buying Experience was hassle-free, my cousin has already owned 310gs since 2020. That inspired me to buy this. The executives were well-behaved and helpful.
    2) After installation of the accessories the looks have been enhanced by many folds. No one can say that it's not a superbike
    3) The first service is not due yet will update later. Ceramic coating /PPF is a must
    4) Pros: Very good road presence, comfortable seat, and lightweight while riding.
Cons: Misses out on many latest features like traction control, switchable ABS and fuel tank capacity is only 11 ltr.

  • Coolest tourer adv with louder apearence undoubtedly

    Anupam Das

Nothing matched with this tourer adv where quality is prior in this segment. It's like a hawk in the sky shark in the sea just smoothly gliding like a razor on any road conditions. After riding u feel the size is not matter. Balance and breaking are mostly pressed. The rear suspension is just awesome. Gear shifting a lil hard before 1st service. Now it's ok.

If you check after a long ride to the garage regularly and cleaning and lubing a timely with brake pad clutch conditions, one service is enough yearly though lil costlier in respect to Indian value u should consider the Premium brand demands that.
