BMW Bikes

BMW offers 20 new models in India with most popular bikes being G310 RR, G 310 GS and M 1000 RR. The upcoming bikes of BMW include F900 GS, CE 04 and CE 02. Most expensive BMW bike is M 1000 RR, which is priced at Rs. 49,00,000.

BMW started off as an aircraft manufacturer in the early 20th century. Post World War I, BMW was prohibited from manufacturing aircraft engines, so it set its sights on the automotive world. The first BMW motorcycle rolled off the production line in 1923. Christened ‘R32’, this model became the base for future BMW models for a long time. BMW has been associated with a number of innovations in the automotive world. Technologies like telescopic forks, hydraulic damping and straight-travel rear-wheel suspension were first used by BMW. Over the years, BMW has also been actively involved in various disciplines of motorsports including superbike racing, road racing and endurance rallies. BMW’s current range consists of a wide variety of motorcycles, stretching from superbikes to naked roadsters, from adventure touring motorcycles to modern classics. BMW even has ‘urban mobility vehicles’ in the form of scooters, though these aren’t sold in India at this point of time. BMW plans to increase its global sales figures by a significant number, and the 310cc motorcycles that have been developed with TVS will play a big role. However, BMW currently sells only large-displacement motorcycles from its portfolio. The G 310 R and G 310 GS will be launched in the near future, however, but they won’t be accessible as such, with their premium pricing.

    Overpriced

Pros is just, Looking and mileage is good Cons are Overpriced, Bluetooth connectivity, and vibration. I am writing about Bluetooth connectivity because tvs rr310 already has it in a low price. Overall bike is good and looks amazing and the road present is good in this single-cylinder bike. I am giving a low star just one thing that is 'Overpriced'.

    1) The Buying Experience was hassle-free, my cousin has already owned 310gs since 2020. That inspired me to buy this. The executives were well-behaved and helpful. 2) After installation of the accessories the looks have been enhanced by many folds. No one can say that it's not a superbike 3) The first service is not due yet will update later. Ceramic coating /PPF is a must 4) Pros: Very good road presence, comfortable seat, and lightweight while riding. Cons: Misses out on many latest features like traction control, switchable ABS and fuel tank capacity is only 11 ltr.

The BMW M 1000RR is a powerhouse of performance. It features a 999cc inline-four engine producing 205 horsepower. Its lightweight, dynamic design incorporates signature M details. Advanced technologies include a TFT display, traction control system, and multiple riding modes. The Brembo radial brake system adds to its sporty performance. It's a superb blend of power and elegance in the world of sports bikes.

Unleash the Beast: Conquering Roads with the BMW S1000
    8 weeks ago
    Samar
Purchasing Experience: Getting my hands on the BMW S1000 was a first-class experience. The dealership staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, guiding me through the customization process smoothly. They ensured the whole buying experience was pleasant and hassle-free. Riding Experience: Riding the S1000 is an absolute adrenaline rush. The powerful engine provides incredible acceleration, letting you surge from 0 to 60 mph in the blink of an eye. The advanced electronics and riding aids give you tremendous confidence and control, even when riding aggressively on twisty roads or tracks. Looks and Performance: The BMW S1000 is visually stunning, with an aggressive design language and aerodynamic bodywork that turns heads everywhere. It's a marvel of engineering, with a high-revving inline-four engine that delivers massive power across the rev range. Combined with the lightweight chassis and sophisticated suspension, it provides unmatched handling and cornering abilities - the S1000 dominates whether blasting through city streets or attacking corners on a racetrack. Maintenance and Servicing: Servicing the S1000 at the dealership is straightforward and convenient, thanks to their expertise. While routine maintenance is simple, the occasional specialized service can be pricey since it's a high-performance machine. However, the peace of mind and service quality make it worthwhile. Pros and Cons: Pros: Jaw-dropping performance Cutting-edge electronics and rider aids Stunning design and aesthetics Precise, agile handling Refined German engineering Cons: Expensive servicing Intimidating for novice riders Uncomfortable for long rides In summary, the BMW S1000 is the ultimate superbike - a two-wheeled masterpiece blending exhilarating power, precision handling, and cutting-edge technology. It dominates the track, carves up twisty roads, and looks fantastic doing it. While not the most practical bike, for performance enthusiasts, the S1000 is hard to beat.

    A trusted machine

After 25 years, I went back to riding a motorcycle. I have a honda highness 350 for my regular commute and was exploring an adventure bike for long tours. I researched all adventure bikes starting from 500cc, 650cc, 800-900cc, 1000cc, and 1200-1250cc bikes. My riding needs are 90% on-road and occasional offroad. I don't ride higher than 110kp/h and most of the time ride at 95-100km/h. Keeping the above in mind, I chose BMW F850 GS. The ride height was high for me (175cm), so opted for a low seat seat from the showroom. This brings the height to 820mm and it is perfect. The bike is just awesome. Plush ride, adequate power, and good fuel economy. The bike's weight is high, but we have to manage it by making some changes to our driving habits. I have done over 8000 kms on the bike and really love it.
