The S 1000 RR is BMW’s flagship sportbike, which competes against the likes of the Ducati Panigale V4 and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R in the Indian market. The latest iteration of the motorcycle gets subtle yet impactful changes over the previous version, which make a compelling package even more attractive. It is available in three variants in India – Standard, Pro, and Pro M Sport – which vary depending on the styling, equipment, and rider aids.
The latest model gets fairing with aero winglets as standard fitment and these are claimed to add 10kg of downforce. BMW Motorrad has also lengthened the windscreen to deliver improved wind deflection.
The mechanical specifications retain the 999cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine with BMW ShiftCam. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor now produces a maximum output of 206.5bhp at 13,750rpm and a peak torque of 113Nm at 11,000rpm. The claimed top speed of the motorcycle stands at 303kmph.
Meanwhile, the electronic rider aids on the new model comprise a traction control system with slide control function, ABS with brake slide assist, four ride modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race), hill start control, bi-directional quickshifter, launch control, and pit lane limiter. Further, the company offers Race Pro 1 to 3 modes as an option on the Standard and Pro, while the Pro M Sport gets them as standard. These modes also enable brake slide assist and DTC slide control functions.
Riders can further customise this BMW motorcycle with two optional packages – Dynamic and M. The Dynamic package brings along dynamic damping control, riding modes Pro, heated grips, and cruise control. Meanwhile, the M package, which is available for the Pro M Sport variant as standard, adds special paintwork called Light White Uni / M Motorsport, M carbon wheels, M sport seat, M brake callipers blue, and the M rider footrest.

One of the best bike

I’ve just got this bike and Indeed it is one of the best.Trust me, in the budget of 24 lakhs, you cannot expect a better bike than this. Talking about the speed, try giving a throttle and you’ll vanish into thin air within seconds. I’ve seen people comparing this with V4s but it costs you 12 Lakhs more than this.

BMW S1000rr is one of the best bikes if you're going for looks, speed, road presence, and long rides it is the best bike and if you are a fan of BMW then this is absolutely worth it the sound of the engine will make you feel the love with it . the seats are more comfortable for long rides but it is very difficult to ride in a crowdy place due to the fear of scratches he requires high maintenance.
