Bounce Infinity E1 Summary

Price: Bounce Infinity E1 price for its variant - Infinity E1 Plus starts at Rs. 1,15,605. The price for the other variants - Infinity E1 Standard and Infinity E1 Limited Edition are Rs. 1,18,125 and Rs. 1,25,615. The mentioned Infinity E1 prices are the average ex-showroom.

Bounce Infinity E1 is an electric scooter available in 3 variants and 10 colours. Bounce Infinity E1 generates 1.5 W power from its motor. With both front and rear disc brakes, Bounce Infinity E1 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels.

The Infinity E1 is Bounce's first electric-scooter in India. This e-scooter will be available with a unique ‘battery-as-a-service’ subscription plan.

The Infinity E1 electric scooter can be bought either with a battery and charger or without a battery. The buyers of the latter need to opt for the battery-as-a-service plan in which they can use Bounce’s battery swapping network for running the scooter. The price of the Infinity E1 with a battery is Rs 68,999 and without a battery is Rs 45,099 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). Interestingly, the Bounce Infinity E1 is eligible for the FAME II subsidy.

Customers purchasing the scooter without the battery need to visit Bounce’s swapping station for replacing the drained out battery with a fully-charged one. The company says this pattern of usage brings down the running cost of the e-scooter by 40 per cent as compared to conventional scooters. Even the customers who choose to buy the scooter with the battery get the facility to remove it and charge it as per convenience.

Coming to the specifications of the Infinity E1, it is propelled by a BLDC motor that produces 83Nm of torque and reaches a top speed of around 65kmph. The company claims zero to 40kmph sprint timing of 8 seconds. The power is delivered in two modes including Eco and Power. As for the battery, it’s a 48V39Ah unit that can be charged through a regular electric socket. Charging takes around four to five hours and it runs for 85km on a full charge.

The Bounce Infinity E1 is also loaded with a host of features like remote tracking, geo-fencing, drag mode, reverse mode, cruise control, anti-theft mechanism, and tow alert. Bounce is also offering a smartphone application that allows the user to virtually control a lot of aspects of the e-scooter.

Bounce Infinity E1 Expert Opinion

Here is the Infinity E1- the first-ever offering from Bounce, a Bengaluru-based EV company. Now, apart from how it rides and etcetera, I wanted to find out what makes the E1 stand apart from the rest of the herd because a boatload of EVs with a boatload of claims is easy to have you- a buyer- confused right?

I recently met an accident and my bike got badly damaged I called the dealer for spare parts but the Dealer informed me he closed the service center also came to know all service centers in Mumbai closed and there is no support from the company. I tried to call customer care but no response. I don't have any option other than scraping the bike

Hassle free EV Scooter by Bounce

      Shubham

The first thing I liked about this scooter was the portable battery. I did not have to get the charging connection done in the parking where I lived on rent. It was hassle-free. The battery is also not heavy, even my wife could carry it. Talk about driving, it gets the job done. We used the bike only for commuting within 5kms. It has helped us very much and with no hassle.

Battery should neither get discharged to 0% or full charge, too often. Best to charge when the remaining battery is about 10% and charge till 90-95%. This is just to keep the battery healthy and long-lasting.

      BIG MISTAKE

      Alex

I will give you my opinion after using Bounce Infinity e1 for more than one year. Maybe my opinion will help others to not make the same mistake I did. I will start with the little things and leave for the end the big ones: 1. Passenger foot rest opens and closes as it wishes; 2. Lack of storage in the front part of the scooter to be able to carry at least a bottle of water; 3. Brakes pads that touch the disks, and after contacting the service they advised me to make at least 200km and that everything will be ok. After 1500km brake pads still touch the disk; 4. The reverse activation takes too long making it useless; 5. The initial test to start the scooter takes too long; 6. The actual eco speed is never 45 as they state, at least not the one displayed; 7. They had an app that they were promoting as an incredible feature. The app rarely worked, the Bluetooth connection and after one year they decided to remove it altogether; 8. No matter how much it rains, if the bike is parked, water goes in the trunk; 9. Sometimes it accelerates alone or it brakes alone; 10. Seating is not at all comfortable, you have the feeling of sliding forward; 11. The after-sales service is the worst I have ever experienced; 12. And now the important stuff that should convince everyone to not buy this scooter under any circumstances: the battery if you don't charge it every two weeks, even though you take it out of the scooter, fully charged and store it in a proper space will deep discharge, making your scooter useless. You cannot charge it again with the charger you have and they cannot charge it for you even in their service, that's how incompetent they are. This charging is not covered by warranty and they send the battery to the battery manufacturer for charge. This costs you 3700 rupees and 7-10 days of waiting. All this was communicated after the sale with a WhatsApp message like anyone stays and reads all the bullshit they communicate by Whatsapp. Their product is so badly designed that you can never leave on a vacation longer than 15 days if you buy their stupid scooter. It is incredible how anyone authorized the sale of this product in the first place. The conclusion is you that have to be an idiot to buy this when there are so many alternatives out there.

      Vijay Widhrani

Worst class bike never buy this infinity, it's just worth less waste of money.
      Poor service
The poor quality product they use in this
      All parts broke especially
You will only spend money on parts and in the motor it will water pump again and again
I have recently changed the motor 13000 r and again in the rainy season it has been jam.
