BSA Scrambler 650 is expected to launch in India in December 2024 in the expected price range of ₹ 3,40,000 to ₹ 3,60,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to Scrambler 650 are Ducati Scrambler Icon, Royal Enfield Bear 650 & Benelli Leoncino 500.
BSA Motorcycles is planning to launch a Scrambler 650 based on the famous Goldstar. A concept version of this bike was recently showcased that revealed quite a few things about the future bike.
From the pictures, it is clear that the concept features a rugged styling. The bike is equipped with wire-spoke wheels, raised front fender, a headlight grill and a single seat. While the brand calls this a concept, there’s a high chance of this exact model making it to production as all the parts look production ready.
In terms of performance, the BSA Scrambler concept gets the 652cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that is borrowed from the Goldstar. This motor makes around 46bhp and a peak torque of 55Nm and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The Scrambler is expected to feature a twin-pod instrument cluster with a semi-digital layout. The left side will include an analogue speedometer along with an LCD to display the odometer. The right side of the console, on the other hand, will feature a tachometer and a digital fuel gauge. All the telltale indicators sit in between the two dials.
We are expecting the production model to make its official debut sometime next year. In terms of the India launch, well, the BSA brand is primarily for Europe markets, but we could eventually see this brand in India in a few years.
