Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro Summary

The Ducati Multistrada Enduro is an adventure touring version of the Multistrada 1200S. Complete with a comprehensive set of technical and mechanical updates to boost its off-road capabilities, the Multistrada Enduro is one of the most capable litre-class adventure touring motorcycles that you can buy.

The Multistrada Enduro rides on rugged wire spoke wheels with knobbly Pirelli tyres to improve its off-road potential. The suspension travel has been raised to help it cope with rough terrains. The front ‘beak’ of the bike has been extended to match the larger 19-inch front tyre. It also gets aluminium side panels to give the bike a rugged look, while the fuel tank capacity has been raised to 30 litres. It also comes with LED cornering lights which illuminate the road on corner entry and a vehicle hold control system that engages the brake to simplify uphill starts.

The Multistrada Enduro is powered by a 1198cc Testastretta DVT L-twin engine, which delivers 160bhp and 136Nm of torque. The engine gets ride-by-wire throttle with rider modes. The electronics package has been carried over from the Multistrada 1200S.

While the standard Ducati Multistrada 1200 S in itself is a decent off-roader, the comprehensive set of upgrades make the Multistrada Enduro an even more versatile motorcycle. The Multistrada 1200 Enduro rivals other litre-class bikes like the Triumph Tiger Explorer, Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally and the BMW R1200 GS.

Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro Expert Opinion

The idea of a motorcycle is to travel from point A to point B. The idea of an adventure bike is somewhat similar, but for it to reach from point A to point B, the bike needs to traverse through continents, cross deep rivers, trail across the scorching sand dunes of a desert and also trudge on in sub-zero conditions. Until now, the BMW R1200GS has been everybody's go-to bike for such adventures, but Ducati wants to steal the German’s show and to do that, they developed the Multistrada 1200 Enduro.

What an experience riding on this bike. If you find a road block you can literally take it through the fields, its ground clearance is 210 mm more than an suv. Has spoke wheels thus there is no chance of rims bending which is very common in alloy rims. Very powerful, goes 235 kmph on tarmac and goes any speed off road, perfect balance, a beauty and a head turner on the roads. Good for all riders having height 5 ft 9 inches and above. Ducati india maintains it very well

Ducati ms1200e - the beast for all occasions!

Bought this bike on a when, had been looking at ducati hypermotard (another amazing bike), but when i went to the ducati showroom i went crazy after looking at this beast.

This is a great looking beast, looks very intimidating but once you are on the saddle it handles like our 200 cc bikes (or even better).

It has 4 riding modes - urban, touring, enduro & sport. I have mostly ridden it in urban & enduro mode for daily commute. Its a delight to ride. You can change the burst of power you get to be in low, mid or high and trust me it is very effective.

This bike is a mile cruncher, you can ride all day without any issues. Can customise anything electronically - ducati wheelie control, ducati traction control, ducati skyhook suspensions. You name and its got it, including a ducati multistrada app that summarises your ride each time you use it. Avg speed, lean angles, distance covered, etc...

Loving the bike and folks at ducati vst have been good with queries as well. Waiting to open full throttle once i cross 2500 kms, that will surely be fun :-)
