Ducati Panigale V4 [2018-2019] Summary

The Panigale is Ducati’s supersport offering. It takes on the name of the location where the Ducati factory is at – so the company has a lot riding on the name. However, it felt like the V-twin format had reached the peak of its development, so more cylinders was the way to go. Enter the V4 Panigale, but it doesn’t simply follow in the footsteps of the V4 superbikes before it. Ducati has brought into being a clever firing order that derives the benefits of both a twin and a four-cylinder engine. The result is 208bhp and 124Nm from a 1100cc four cylinder engine. As befits a Ducati, there is a full suite of electronics to aid the rider extract the best lap time. The information is displayed via a 5-inch colour TFT screen.

The Panigale has been launched in India and deliveries will begin by July. The first two buyers will get a free seat at the Ducati Riding Experience in Thailand in June. The V4 Panigale competes with the BMW S1000RR, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Yamaha YZF-R1, Suzuki GSX-R1000, and the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade. A left-field competitor is the Aprilia RSV4, another Italian with a similar engine layout, and the MV Augusta F4, while long in the tooth, is as Italian and desirable as they come.

      Panigale v4 the beast .

I ride ducati panigale v4 and i love it . No other bike in this category will beat it by its performance. The look is aggressive and it is value for money . The only disadvantage is it's engine heat . It is unaffordable. No other superbikes have engine heat like v4. But overall i love its performance and features.

Probably one of the best superbikes ever made. Good riding position, comfortable (for a supersports bike) and definitely a stunner. The new V4 engine is the centre piece here. It has loads of torque all through the rev-range, making riding it at lower speeds a breeze.
The bike comes alive at higher speeds. Put it in Sports or Race mode, you will never know when you cross 200kmph mark.
Street mode makes it very easy to ride it in rains and bad roads.
      cons-
      1) The switches are not backlit, which makes it very hard to use them in the dark especially when the rider is not used to the bike.
      2) The V4 sound is not for everyone's taste. Unlike the inline 4 sound, which everyone loves
In short, if you are even considering this bike, stop right there and get it. It would be the best decision that you've ever made.

Not good to buy compared to r1

      Hatim

The looks of the bike are fantastic, had owned a second hand v4 for 2 months but didn't have as i have in my r1 it is safe to ride in city but doesn't give mileage and have many cons so have to sell it .It had a great shifter and a very good throttle response as compared to the r1 . It just used to catch eyes of people in a traffic . The main reason to sell the bike was maintenance of the bike . I had to check the pressure, in every 100 kilometres i had to refuel the tank and so on. If you are a spend thrift you shall go for this bike.
