Ducati has announced the launch of the BS6-compliant Supersport 950 in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available in two variants – Standard and S.
The premium model benefits from fully-adjustable 48mm Ohlins upside-down front forks and an Ohlins rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks. This variant also gets a passenger seat cover as standard. The base model, on the other hand, uses 43mm USD Marzocchi front forks and a Sachs mono-shock at the back. The braking setup on both models includes two 320mm front discs and a single 245mm rear rotor.
The electronic rider aids on both variants include three riding modes (Sport, Touring, and Urban), cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and a bidirectional quickshifter. The new Ducati Supersport 950 and Supersport 950 S feature an LED headlight, a 4.3-inch full-TFT display, a single-sided swingarm, raised handlebars, revised seat, three-spoke 'Y' aluminium wheels, and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 tyres.
The updated styling is inspired by the Panigale V4 and the BS6 model features an updated headlight design, a sportier fairing, a muscular fuel tank, a tall windscreen, rear-view mirror integrated front turn indicators, a step-up saddle, a twin-pod exhaust outlet, and a waterproof USB socket under the seat. The list of optional extras includes anti-theft alarm, heated grips, and Ducati Multimedia System (DMS).
The base model is available in a single paint option (Ducati Red) while the S version has been listed in two colours (Ducati Red and Arctic White Silk).
Both variants of the BS6-compliant Supersport 950 use a 937cc, L-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that makes 108.6bhp at 9,000rpm and 93Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The motorcycle is backed by a 24-month/unlimited mileage warranty while the maintenance intervals stand at 15,000km/two years.

For a very long time, road-racing motorcycles have represented the pinnacle of two-wheeler technology and acted as “halo” products for manufacturers. The hope — valid for a time — was that the racing credentials of their teams and replica paint schemes on almost-there road bikes would rub off on their lesser offerings, which would bring in volume sales. For those of you who remember Aerosmith before Armageddon, you will remember the glory days of 600cc sport bikes that were updated every two years and perennially locked in a battle for supremacy across glossy mags that you imported or paid rent money for. That seems very long ago indeed, today....the power could have been better considering the zx10r is a cheaper alternative but nothing can beat the look and finish of Ducati..it does heat up in traffic but I felt it's tolerable overall great bike if u have the budget.

Its a little bit costly but talk about the performance this bike is awesome and the look is better than Hayabusa having a great finish and a shining color when sunshine touches the body of the bike it shines like a light it took costly to maintain it we have to regular maintenance it, all-over the bike is good but the sitting posture is not that much good you will feel a bit pain in your back when you go for a long ride but all-over taking About a sports bike it's awesome

1.Well I didn't buy this bike because of very high price but I rode it as one of my friend owns it.2.I will only say one thing about this bike that it is the perfect bike ever made and the riding experience is very luxurious and I cannot express my emotions.3.This bike looks heavenly when in black and about its performance it is outstanding. When riding this bike I felt like a king riding a dragon.4.The maintenance cost somewhat high but still affordable to those who can purchase this bike.Pros:: very smooth riding experience.cons:: very expensive for middle class peoples. At least I would just like to say that this bike is worth the money.

Riding experience about super sport is quite better rather than competitors. The bike itself revs in middle gears also. Eye catchy, the bs6 variant offering a bit less hp compare to previous one due to the emission norms a slight power back has been noticed while driving. Rest everything would be same compare to previous one.
