TVS Apache RR310 Long Term Report: Introduction
Was it the most awaited motorcycle of 2017? Was it close to the Akula's radiance? Was it a track worthy machine? And, did it have what it takes to beat the default choice in the affordable supersports class, the KTM RC390?
Yes, yes and yes. The TVS Apache RR310 has proven its mettle in all the various tests we have put it through. At the MMRT racetrack, it was fast, friendly and fun. You can read more about it HERE.
On the road, again, it was fast, friendly and fun. And, with added attributes like a plush ride and great heat dissipation characteristics, we were completely smitten by the comfort and everyday usability the RR offered, especially for a supersports bike. More on it HERE.
Then, it passed its most difficult test by beating the KTM RC390 in a head-to-head. Yes, it wasn't as involving or dynamically potent as the KTM, but the Apache proved to be a much better everyday, fast and sporty motorcycle. We loved it. For more on how that went, click HERE.
But, we weren't finished with it. We wanted to spend more time riding the RR310. We wanted to try it out in even more trying conditions. And, we needed a valid excuse just to do that.
So, say hello to our Apache RR310 long termer. Over the next six months we will try and dig deeper into what is TVS Motor Co’s most powerful, most advanced, and most fun-to-ride motorcycle yet. Stay tuned.
